A game of chance played between a plurality of players, which ensures there can be only one winner. Each player is associated with a set of indicators, and a winner is determined if a set of indicators associated with a player matches a unique set of indicators randomly selected from a pool of possible indicators. For a pool of a given size, the game calculates the unique combinations of a smaller number of indicators that can be generated from the pool. Each player is associated with one or more unique combinations, but each unique combination is associated with one and only one player. Indicators are randomly selected from the pool until all of the indicators in a first unique combination have been selected. The player associated with the first unique combination is the single winner of the game.

A 3-number bingo game adapted to ensure there can be only a single winner. The numbers from 1 to 75 are divided into fifteen groups of five numbers each. For each group, the unique 3-number combinations of the five numbers taken three at a time are determined and printed on game cards. A single winner is determined if the unique 3-number combination on a player's game card matches a winning set of three numbers randomly determined by the House.

Single winner bingo game

A lottery-type ticket having a winner indication that enables a player to quickly determine whether the ticket is a winning ticket. The ticket may be a scratch-off ticket or a break-open ticket. The winner indication may be hidden under a scratch-off zone or behind a pull-tab window that is independent and separated from the playing area. Alternatively, the winner indication may be proximate to one or more game indicia that are each hidden under a scratch-off zone or behind a pull-tab window. Speed of play is increased by enabling the player to determine whether the ticket is a winning ticket by either scratching off a single scratch-off zone or opening a single pull-tab window.
