A method of annotating medical data may involve receiving, by a first device, medical data from one or more sensors of one or more medical devices and non-medical event data from one or more non-medical devices. The non-medical event data may indicate a non-medical device type. The method may involve annotating the medical data according to the non-medical event data, to produce annotated medical data, and transmitting the annotated medical data to a second device.

Example systems, methods, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for dynamic provisioning of wireless devices with health gateways are disclosed. A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. An apparatus, e.g., user equipment (UE), receives a reporting requirement for one or more Multicast-Broadcast Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) physical layer parameters. The UE obtains the one or more MBSFN physical layer parameters including at least one parameter corresponding to a reference signal, and creates a report based on the obtained one or more MBSFN physical layer parameters. The UE may obtain the one or more MBSFN physical layer parameters using user-plane or control-plane based mechanisms. The user-plane mechanism involves the use of a modified version of the reporting mechanism for Quality of Experience (QoE) metrics. The control-plane mechanism involves the use of a modified version of the reporting mechanism for the Minimization of Drive Tests (MDT) metrics.

Method and apparatus for physical layer measurements in multicast broadcast multimedia service systems

Systems, methods, and receiver devices enable broadcasters with restricted content license areas (e.g., Designated Market Areas ('DMAs') to distribute content via Over the Top ('OTT') IP networks. Embodiments enable client reporting and authentication as well as broadcast content encryption. In an embodiment, information from the client may be reported back to the broadcasters, such as a view history/use report. In an embodiment, hand off between DMAs may be enabled. In an embodiment, local advertisement insertion in network content may be enabled. Embodiments may enable Multicast-Broadcast Single Frequency Network (&#x201c;MBSFN&#x201d;) operation across DMA boundaries.

A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided in which at least one bit rate for allocating network resources from a broadcast-multicast service center (BM-SC) is received. The network resources are then allocated based on the at least one bit rate. Moreover, all evolved Node Bs (eNBs) in a broadcast/multicast area are informed of the network resource allocation. Additionally, the network resources are allocated for a session based on a first bit rate, wherein the first bit rate is greater than a guaranteed bit rate (GBR), and the network resource allocation is adjusted to a second bit rate based on the occurrence of an event, wherein the second bit rate is equal to GBR.

In addition, the apparatus switches to a second frequency after the current paging cycle to receive multicast/broadcast information on the second frequency. Furthermore, the apparatus attempts to receive the multicast/broadcast information on the second frequency before a predetermined time.

Embodiments of methods and apparatuses for distributing configuration data to one or more mobile terminals. An embodiment of one method of the invention includes receiving from the host application a request from a client to transmit a configuration data value to a mobile terminal. The configuration data value can include a designation of a new precedence level for a mobile terminal corresponding to a new operating characteristic of the mobile terminal. The method can include the step of transmitting from the NMC a configuration data value including the new precedence level to the mobile terminal. The present invention includes a system and methods for upgrading software on a mobile terminal. The system includes a network management computer (NMC) adapted to receive a plurality of software upgrades and to transmit one of the plurality of software upgrades to one of a plurality of mobile terminals through a satellite link. The mobile terminal can include an upgradeable component, which in turn includes a detachable device descriptor (DDD) corresponding to operating characteristics of the upgradeable component.
