Disclosed herein are techniques for camera illuminator control. These techniques can be used in cameras that include an RGBIR (red green blue infrared) camera sensor and two illuminators&#x2014;one visible light illuminator and one infrared illuminator. The techniques provide timing and control for such cameras for a variety of different camera modes. Particular camera modes may be defined as having different camera mode values for different camera mode parameters. That is, any particular camera mode is defined by a particular camera mode value for each of a set of camera mode parameters. Different parameters include a flash periodicity parameter, a simultaneity parameter, an autoexposure mode parameter, a shutter mode parameter, and a frame drop parameter.

Illumination control techniques for color and IR camera sensors

Techniques whereby a LAN-side border router observes all packets of an application flow from both directions so that the application recognition performed on the LAN-side border router functions properly. A border router may implement flags in a flow cache to indicate whether the border router is the LAN-side border router and/or a WAN-side border router for an application flow. As packets are received at a border router at either the LAN interface or WAN interface, the flags associated with packet's application flows are examined to determine if the border router is the LAN-side border router for the application flow. If so, then application recognition and routing control may be performed. If not, the packet may be redirected to another border router that may be the LAN-side border router or the WAN-side border router for the application flow to insure that border router observes the packet.

Flow cache based mechanism of packet redirection in multiple border routers for application awareness

In response to receiving one or more packets from an interface, an anchoring border router classifies the traffic flow and either transmits the packets based upon the routing control table as usual, or determines that the packets of the traffic flow are to be forwarded to a forwarding border router. Upon determining that the packets are to be forwarded, the packets are encapsulated with a routing encapsulation key corresponding to a routing path and are forwarded from the anchoring border router to the forwarding border router via a routing encapsulation tunnel. When a forwarding border router receives the redirected packets over the routing encapsulation tunnel, the forwarding border router removes the routing encapsulation key from the packets of the traffic flow and transmits the packets via a routing path corresponding to the routing encapsulation key.

Traffic flow redirection between border routers using routing encapsulation

A software defined network controller detects when a host has moved between network elements in a network. The controller generates a list of network elements to which the host has roamed, the list being sorted by time when the host is attached to a network element so that a most recent network element to which the host is attached is the root network element and at a head of the list. The controller updates the root network element in the list first for traffic flow associated with the host. The controller sends commands to the network elements to program a tunnel from each previous point of attachment network element in the list to the most recent root network element in the list in reverse order of the roaming path so as to route traffic for the host via a tunnel.

Auto tunneling in software defined network for seamless roaming

A system, a method, and an article of manufacture for controlling operation of an electrical power generation system are provided. The electrical power generation system has a plurality of electrical generators electrically coupled to an electrical grid. The method includes obtaining a first output parameter value associated with the electrical power generation system. The method further includes determining an error value indicative of a difference between the first output parameter value and a desired output parameter value. The method further includes determining a first gain value based on at least one of the first output parameter value and a time-varying operational parameter of the electrical power generation system. The method further includes determining a first power value based on the error value and the first gain value. The method further includes determining a second gain value based on at least one of the first output parameter value, the time-varying operational parameter, and a reference value. The method further includes determining a second power value based on the error value and the second gain value. The method further includes generating a desired power command for the electrical power generation system based on the first and second power values.
