An encapsulation method of organic electroluminscence device is provided. An organic electroluminescent device is formed on an indium-tin-oxide glass substrate. A metal electrode is formed on the organic electroluminescent device. The organic electroluminescent device is encapsulated by a nitride layer or a carbide layer formed by using segmental sputtering at a low temperature. The substrate is soldered on a metal plate and covered by a metal cap.

Encapsulation method of an organic electroluminescent device

A method for fabricating a full-color organic electro-luminescent device starts with forming an indium tin oxide (ITO) layer on a glass substrate, and then forming a blue-light emitting layer on the ITO layer. By irradiating predetermined portions of the blue-light emitting layer with certain light sources, pixels that emit different light colors are formed on the irradiated portions of the blue-light emitting layer. An electrode layer is then formed on the corresponding pixels, wherein the electrode layer is further covered by a protection layer. During the operation of the full-color OEL device of the invention, a driving voltage is applied on the ITO layer, the anode, and the electrode layer, the cathode.

Method for fabricating an organic electro-luminescent device

A plasma-polymerized anti-fogging film is formed by polymerization-depositing a high molecular polymerized DMDAS film on a substrate to provide the substrate surface with anti-fogging capability. The plasma polymerization deposition process is performed by using diacetoxy silane monomer that contains bi-carboxylate O.dbd.C--O-- functional group as the reactant monomer with an introduction of a suitable amount of oxygen to cause the polymerization reaction. The reactant monomer and the oxygen are introduced into a vacuum deposition apparatus and a high energy plasma is generated between electrodes of the vacuum deposition apparatus to cause the polymerization reaction on the substrate to form thereon the high molecular polymerized DMDAS anti-fogging film.

Plasma-polymerized DMDAS anti-fogging film and method for manufacturing

A foldable screen display for displaying screen images is disclosed which comprises: (a) at least two sub-displays; (b) a hinging member for pivotally connecting the sub-displays together on a side-by-side manner; (c) a magnifying optical element provided on top of each of the sub-displays, the magnifying optical element providing a magnifying power of between about 1.05 and about 1.3 so as to cause images displayed on the sub-displays to be perceived by a user as if they were from a single display; and (d) a membrane covering both of the sub-displays and the hinging member, the membrane being made of a transparent and resilient material. In a preferred embodiment, the magnifying optical element is a zone plate type magnifying optical element and is constructed to provide a magnifying power approximately equalling to one plus the ratio between the width of the hinging member and the width of sub-display. The foldable screen display provides the advantages of being able to reduce the size of the display without compromising user's desire for maximum viewing comfort; therefore, it is an excellent device for use in making personal digital assistants, electronic books, electronic Rolodex.RTM., pen-based computers, portable TV, etc.
