A gauge assembly includes an indicator for providing an indication of an amount of fluid in a tank and a stop-fill assembly for stopping the flow of fluid flowing into the tank once the fluid reaches a particular level. The gauge assembly has a shaft that rotates as the fluid level changes in the tank. The indicator translates the rotational position of the shaft into a fluid level. The stop-fill assembly moves from an open position, where fluid can flow into the tank, to a closed position, where fluid is prohibited from flowing into the tank, depending on the rotational position of the shaft.

A combination overfill protection device, fluid level gauge, includes a service valve having a body defining a set of wrench flats, an input port, and a tank port wherein the overfill protection device has a float that rotates a shaft in response to a change in fluid level, the shaft transitioning the overfill protection device between opened and closed configurations and rotating a magnet within the service valve body proximate the wrench flat and wherein a gauge dial has a dial magnet housing sized to fit proximate to the wrench flat such that rotation of the magnet within the service valve actuates a dial magnet housed substantially in the dial magnet housing.

A system for determining a fluid level in a pressurizable container comprising is disclosed. The system includes a service valve having a set of wrench flats defining parallel flat surfaces, one of the wrench flats having a recess defined entirely within its flat surface, a stop-fill device interconnected with the service valve and operable to rotate a first magnet inside the service valve in proximity to the recess in proportion to the amount of fluid in the pressurizable container, and a dial assembly having a dial face and a pointer attached to a second magnet, the second magnet housed in a magnet protrusion on a side of the dial face opposite the pointer and operable to fit into the recess in the service valve such that the dial moves on the dial face proportionately to the degree of rotation of the first magnet inside the service valve. In one variation, a sensor placed in the recess or adjacent a throat of the service valve is electrically connected to a remotely located gauge for displaying a reading corresponding to the level of fluid in the container.

A mounting assembly for holding and moving a propane cylinder between a first operational position and a second lower loading/unloading position with respect to a support structure of a forklift is provided. The mounting assembly includes a base member adapted for connection to the forklift support structure, a cradle for supporting the cylinder between the first and second positions, and first and second pivot arms having a first end pivotally connected to the base member and a second end pivotally connected to the cradle. In the first position, the cradle is in a generally horizontal orientation. In the second position, the cradle is in a generally vertical orientation. Angular movement of the first and second pivot arms causes rotation of the cradle between the generally horizontal and generally vertical orientations.

A covering apparatus () includes a cutter (), an applicator () and a continuous length of removable cover material (). The cutter () is adapted to cut off a discrete section () of cover material, and the applicator () applies the discrete section () to a printed media/ticket substrate (). The covering apparatus () may be mounted adjacent to a printer () and creates a complete, covered ticket in response to a ticket substrate () being ejected from the printer () into the covering apparatus.

A resistive element structure for a sender assembly of a gauge is provided. The resistive element structure comprises a first and second resistive element. A first set of contact elements are distributed along a first arc about a pivot point. Each contact element of the first set is electrically connected to the first resistive element. A second set of contact elements is distributed along a second arc about the pivot point. Each contact element of the second set is electrically connected to the second resistive element.

A float-type liquid level gauge is provided for measuring the level of a liquid such as LPG within a horizontally oriented cylindrical tank (228). The gauge includes a movable pivot arm (212) supporting a float arm assembly (225) and coupled by gears (207, 214) to a magnet shaft (206, 208) and magnet (210) mounted in a rigid support arm (204) through a sideways-securing shaft channel(209). The support arm is connected to the lower side of a gauge head (202) and the magnet extends into a passage (52) in the gauge head so as to be magnetically coupled to a level indicating dial (226) provided on the upper side of the gauge head. The lower portion (302) of the support arm is angled and offset with respect to a longitudinal axis (265) such that a high ratio can be obtained between the gears while still permitting the components of the gauge to pass through the opening of a standard pressure fitting (234).

Liquid level gauge

A float-type liquid level gauge is provided for measuring the level within a tank of liquids such as liquified petroleum gases. The liquid level gauge includes a movable float arm (30) coupled by gears (46, 48) to a magnet shaft (26) and magnet (28) mounted in a rigid support arm (24) through a side-accessible shaft passage (110). The support arm is connected to the lower side of a gauge head (22) and the magnet extends into a passage (52) in the gauge head so as to be magnetically coupled to a level indicating dial (34) provided on the upper side of the gauge head.
