A pillow in the present invention may include a main pillow body and a neck support. The main pillow body may include three sections: a head support section and a pair of lateral support sections; and the shape of the main pillow body resembles a reverse letter 'U.' In an exemplary embodiment, each lateral support section extends from the main pillow body with an enlarging rear end, and the length of lateral support sections is designed to be slightly longer than conventional pillows, so that the pillow would be long and wide enough to support the user's shoulders, no matter which rest position the user adopts. Also, the rear ends of the lateral support sections are thicker by inserting more stuffing materials inside to provide better lateral support to the user when he/she rests on the side during sleep.

Orthopedic pillows

An occupant of a cubicle or office can activate transparent partitions to partially or completely enclose a cubicle and/or office to minimize noise, optimize privacy, lighting, air flow and temperature. This transparent partition is coated with a thin layer material connected to electrodes. Once the occupant decides that changing working conditions (e.g., minimize noise, optimize privacy, adjust lighting, air flow and/or temperature) is needed, the occupant can activate the thin transparency control layer by appropriate electronic control. Movable parts of the partitions may also be adjusted. The transparent partitions may be made darker or opaque. Movable partitions may be used to provide optimized privacy, noise level, lighting, air flow and temperature control. Conversely, the partitions may be made transparent and movable sections retracted to permit greater worker-to-worker interaction.

System and method for controlling workspace environment

Apparatus and method are disclosed for performing testing and fault isolation of high density passive boards and substrates. Using a small number of moving probes, simultaneous network resistance and network capacitance measurements may be performed. Thus, test time is minimized by eliminating the need for electrical switching and/or excessive probe movement during the test of a normal circuit board network. Simultaneous network capacitance and network leakage measurement are also achieved using phase-sensitive detection. Dual-frequency measurement techniques allow the measurement of both the capacitance value and resistance value of a leakage path between a network being measured and an unknown network. Any leakage resistance between a network under test and ground or power planes within the circuit board may also be determined from the measurements. Simultaneous independent net-to-plane capacitance characterization is also achieved using signals of mutually independent frequencies accompanied by minimal signal processing. Thus, improved defect detection capabilities are obtained.

System and method for testing and fault isolation of high density

A system for verifying an object of interest, includes a grayscale one-dimensional bar pattern coupled to the object, an illumination and imaging system using a one-dimensional imaging device for reading the pattern coupled to the object and for producing a pattern image, a device for translating the pattern image into a sequence of bar widths and transition directions representing a detected code, a device for comparing the detected code with a predetermined code, and a device for indicating one of the detected code and acceptance or rejection of the detected code based on comparison of the detected code with the predetermined code.

Apparatus and method for measuring a change in the height of a surface or the distance between two surfaces. The invention involves converging a light beam having a beam axis and a focus onto the said surface; scanning the focus of the light beam across the surface along the beam axis using a scanning means; measuring intensity of light reflected from the surface during the scanning; determining a maximum of the light intensity; assigning to the maximum of the light intensity a position of the scanning means; repeating these steps to monitor a change in the position of the scanning means assigned to the maximum of the light intensity; and correlating such change in the position of the scanning means to a change in the height of the surface.
