An exemplary system generates a plurality of different content files each including data representative of content of a virtual reality world, and provides the plurality of different content files to a media player device via a network. In particular, the generated and provided plurality of different content files comprises at least one of a plurality of uniform-resolution content files and a plurality of mixed-resolution content files. The plurality of uniform-resolution content files are each associated with a different respective center point within the virtual reality world. The plurality of mixed-resolution content files each correspond to one respective content sector of a plurality of partially overlapping content sectors that together form a view of the virtual reality world associated with a single center point, the one respective content sector being encoded in a high resolution while a remainder of the content sectors are encoded in a low resolution.

Methods and systems for delivering independently-controllable interactive media content

An exemplary interactive media content provider system generates overall data representative of interactive media content. The exemplary interactive media content provider system concurrently provides the overall data to both a first media player device associated with a first user and a second media player device associated with a second user by way of a point-to-multipoint media delivery protocol. The first media player device and the second media player device may each be configured to render different portions of the overall data to respective display screens of the media player devices at a particular point in time based on different user input from the first user and the second user, respectively, as the first user and the second user independently interact with the interactive media content. Corresponding methods and systems are also described.

Methods and systems for point-to-multipoint delivery of independently-controllable interactive media content

A system may receive, from a dongle device ('dongle'), a connection request to receive mobile communication service ('service') associated with a service campaign (&#x201c;campaign&#x201d;) for a mobile device: the mobile device being associated with a first service provider (&#x201c;SP&#x201d;); the dongle being associated with a second SP and the campaign; the dongle being configured to provide the service from the second SP to the mobile device; and the connection request including a dongle device identifier (&#x201c;identifier&#x201d;) associated with the dongle. The system may compare the identifier with stored identifiers associated with the campaign. The system may determine that the identifier is associated with the campaign if the identifier matches one of the stored identifiers and may cause a connection to be established to provide the service to the mobile device via the dongle based on the identifier being associated with the campaign.

Providing mobile communication service using a dongle device

A device may detect a trigger associated with a vehicle. The device may determine registration information, associated with the vehicle, based on detecting the trigger. The registration information may include information associated with a user device associated with the vehicle. The device may determine that the user device is not within a particular distance of the vehicle. The device may provide, to the user device and based on determining that the user device is not within the particular distance of the vehicle, an alert associated with the vehicle. The alert may be provided via a communications network. The device may determine, after providing the alert to the user device, that an action, associated with the vehicle, is to be performed. The device may cause the action, associated with the vehicle, to be performed.

On-demand performance of an action associated with a vehicle

A device provides, to another device, a start request for an evolved multimedia broadcast multicast services (eMBMS) session, and receives eMBMS session traffic from the other device based on the start request. The device determines track information from the eMBMS session traffic, and decodes the eMBMS session traffic into a format understood by the device. The device determines quality information associated with the eMBMS session traffic, and presents, for display, the decoded eMBMS session traffic, the track information, and the quality information associated with the eMBMS session traffic.
