A stand mixer includes a column. A bowl support is mounted to the column such that the bowl support is vertically translatable on column. An adjustment apparatus is configured for adjustment of a height of a bowl on the bowl support. The adjustment apparatus includes a cam rotatably mounted on the column and a cam follower coupled to the bowl support and engaging the cam. The cam and cam follower are configured such that the bowl support vertically translates in relation to the column as the cam rotates.

Adjustment apparatus for a stand mixer

A stand mixer includes a column, a column rail mounted to the column and a bowl support mounted to the column rail such that the bowl support is vertically translatable along the column. A bowl is mounted to the bowl support. A fine adjustment apparatus is configured for adjusting a height of the bowl on the bowl support. The fine adjustment apparatus includes a cam rotatably mounted on the column. A cam tab on the column rail engages the cam. The cam and cam tab are configured such that the bowl support vertically translates in relation to the column as the cam rotates.

Systems and methods for fine adjustment on a stand mixer

A stand mixer is provided. The stand mixer may include a support frame, a bowl arm assembly, and a damper assembly. The bowl arm assembly may be mounted to the support frame and may be moveable a raised position and a lowered position. The damper assembly may be mounted to the support frame and may be positioned for engaging the bowl arm assembly as it moves towards the lower position. The stand mixer may also include a bracket attached to the bowl arm assembly.

Mixing bowl positioning improvement for a stand mixer appliance

A stand mixer includes a base and a support column attached to the base, extending upwardly from the base. A bowl lift framework extends outwardly from the support column. The bowl lift framework includes at least one lift arm. The lift arm is pivotable relative to the support column. The lift arm rotates a first tension bar coupled to a linkage, and the linkage is rotatable about a lift pin. The linkage is also coupled to a second tension bar. A head is attached to an upper end of the support column and extends from the support column above the base. Also included in the stand mixer is a bowl. The bowl lift framework is configured for vertically moving the bowl relative to the head when the lift arm pivots relative to the support column.

Systems for stand mixer bowl lifting

A stand mixer includes a base with a column mounted to the base, and a head fixed atop the column. The stand mixer also includes a bowl and a bowl carrier mounted on the column. The bowl carrier includes two arms extending forward from the back portion of the bowl carrier. The bowl carrier defines a pocket at the back portion of the bowl carrier. The pocket is configured for receiving a bowl retention protuberance of the bowl when the bowl is mounted on the two arms. Each of the two arms defines a respective orifice on a top portion of the two arms. Each of the two arms includes a respective plunger. The orifice of each of the two arms configured for receiving a respective locking tab of the bowl. The plunger of each of the two arms has an end portion that extends into the orifice to engage the respective locking tab on the bowl, when the bowl is mounted on the two arms.

Systems and methods for bowl support on a stand mixer

A stand mixer includes a base with a support column, and a bowl lift framework extending outwardly from the support column. The bowl lift framework includes at least two lift arms. The lift arms are pivotable relative to the support column. A head is attached to an upper end of the support column and extends horizontally from the support column above the base. Additionally included is a bowl. The bowl includes a flange around a circumference of the bowl, and the bowl is held between the lift arms of the bowl lift framework.

A beverage-dispensing appliance may include a carbonation tank, a carbonator jacket, a cold water line, and an ice bin. The carbonation tank may define a tank volume, a water inlet upstream from the tank volume, a carbon dioxide inlet upstream from the tank volume, and a carbonated water outlet downstream from the tank volume. The carbonator jacket may define a jacket volume disposed about the carbonation tank. The cold water line may extend to the carbonator jacket in upstream fluid communication with the tank volume to direct a cold water flow to the tank volume. The ice bin may be spaced apart from the carbonation tank. The ice bin may define a drain aperture upstream from the cold water line to direct melt water thereto.

Beverage-dispensing appliance having a chilled carbonator

A beverage dispensing assembly may include a dispenser body, one or more flanges, a brew module, and a water delivery system. The dispenser body may define a dispenser recess. The flanges may extend from and below an upper wall. The brew module may be selectively installed within the dispenser recess and define a brew chamber therein. The brew module may include one or more rails movably received on the one or more flanges to support the brew module within the dispenser recess. The water delivery system may be mounted to the dispenser body in selective engagement with the brew module. The water delivery system may include a delivery nozzle and a biasing spring. The delivery nozzle may be slidably attached to the upper wall and axially slidable between a lowered position and an elevated position. The biasing spring may motivate the delivery nozzle toward the lowered position.

Beverage dispensing assembly for an appliance

A free-standing appliance may include a cabinet, a water source, an icemaker, an ice bin, a cold water line, and one or more other features. The icemaker may be mounted within the cabinet downstream from the water source to receive water therefrom. The ice bin may be disposed within the cabinet downstream from the icemaker to receive ice therefrom. The cold water line may be mounted to the cabinet and define a cold water outlet downstream from the water source in fluid isolation from the icemaker.

A method for brewing Japanese-style iced coffee with a single-serve beverage dispenser includes dispensing heated water onto coffee grounds disposed within a brew chamber of a brew module, flowing brewed coffee from the brew chamber into an ice chamber of an iced coffee module, the brewed coffee flowing over ice within the ice chamber, and flowing the iced brewed coffee from the ice chamber into a container. A sensor assembly includes a sleeve, a conductive plug inserted into a first portion of the sleeve, and a temperature sensor inserted into a second portion of the sleeve. The lid may be rotatably attached to the brewing body at the upper end to rotate about the rotation axis between a first position and a second position. The first position may secure the lid to the brewing body and restrict access to the brew chamber. The second position may release the lid from the brewing body.

A composting machine that is positioned within a cabinet under a kitchen sink includes a macerator assembly comprising a plurality of macerator blades for shredding food waste.
