A system for managing QoS provided to user equipment included in an unmanned autonomous vehicle (UAV) by a wireless communication system comprising base stations, each providing radio coverage over a corresponding cell. The system comprises one or more computing devices to execute: a setup module to receive data identifying a predetermined path, and send a request of allocating dedicated radio resources for wireless links, the requested dedicated radio resources being expected sufficient to guarantee a QoS not lower than a predefined QoS value, and a QoS verify module to receive QoS data indicative of measured QoS and position data indicative of an actual position of the UAV during traveling, and verify whether the QoS actually during travelling is not lower than the predefined QoS value of the received QoS data and verify whether an actual path followed by the UAV corresponds to the predetermined path of the received position data.

System and method for managing quality of service provided by a communication system to an unmanned autonomous vehicle

An electric energy supply management method includes having a certifier system define a reference electric power profile for an electric apparatus, and having the certifier system provide a device coupled to the electric apparats and to a socket that delivers electric energy provided by an electric energy supplier. The device is associated only to the electric apparatus through the reference electric power profile. The method also includes having a user of the electric apparatus couple the electric apparatus to the socket through the device, and having the device check that the electric apparatus is coupled to the socket by comparing a measured electric power profile of the electric apparatus to the reference electric power profile. If the check has a positive outcome, the method has the device collect measurements about the electric power used by the electric apparatus and certify them as energy consumptions of the electric apparatus.

System and method for managing supply of electric energy through certified measures

A method for selecting routing paths of data packets in a data network including plural communication links and routing apparatuses. The method includes: calculating and assigning to the communication links respective communication links' costs; calculating, for at least two different routing paths, respective routing path overall costs, which depend on the communication links' costs assigned to communication links making up such routing path; selecting, among the at least two different routing paths, the routing path having the lower routing path overall cost; causing a new data packet to be routed in the data network over the selected routing path, and collecting measures indicative of at least one performance parameter indicating a performance of previous transmissions of data packets from origin end points of the data network to destination end points of the data network, and using the collected measures for calculating the communication links' costs.

Dynamic configuration of routing paths in a data network

A system for supporting an intervention to be carried out by a human operator on a network apparatus of a communication network is provided. The system includes a terminal device provided with a personal proxy, which is part of the equipment of the human operator. The personal proxy provides to the human operator instructions to carry out the various operations of the intervention, by displaying augmented reality elements overwritten to a live view of the network apparatus. Then, upon execution of each instruction, the personal proxy cooperates with the network management system for checking whether the instruction was properly executed, and reports the outcome to the operator by displaying further augmented reality elements overwritten to the live view of the network apparatus.

A list of elements in a set of elements is matched by means of regular expressions that define respective groups of elements in the set by approximately matching by means of the regular expressions the list of elements by locating recurrences of the regular expressions in the list of elements with a maximum number of matching errors. The matching errors correspond to insertions deriving from the superposition of groups of elements related to different regular expressions. Each time the recurrence of one regular expression is located in the list, the group of elements defined by the regular expression thus located is removed from the list, while leaving in the list those elements corresponding to errors. The approximate matching can be performed by representing each regular expression in terms of Glushkov automata. The method is applicable, e.g., for generating workflows related to interventions on equipment such as equipment included in a telecommunication network or to attacks attempted against such equipment.

The architecture has a base layer proxying the interfaces and decoupling them from management functions, and a support layer having a community of agents co-ordinating operation of the base layer in order to support distributed management functionalities. The base layer and the support layer constitute separated superposed layers in the architecture. The layers in the architecture preferably include components adapted to perform respective functions based on respective instruction information provided to them. A data base is provided for storing the instruction information. The architecture is arranged for distributing the instruction information from the data base to the components. Preferably, all the layers in the architecture include process executors.

A system for automatic generation of workflow models related to interventions performed on equipment included in a communication network having associated resource proxy agents each providing a representation of the status of corresponding network equipment according to a given data model. The system includes a set of recorder agents, and the resource proxy agents are configured to send to the recorder agents information signals representative of events in the status of the corresponding network equipment triggered by manual activities or commands, such as, commands input by operators and performed on the network equipment. The system is configured to analyze the information signals sent to the respective recorder agents to produce therefrom workflow models of the manual activities or commands performed on the network equipment.
