A method of sharing of network resources between at least two access gateways, each of the at least two access gateways providing network connectivity to user equipment, includes assessing whether a first access gateway can to share a portion of available network resources, assessing whether a second access gateway requires additional network resources to provide network connectivity to user equipment, and establishing a wireless connection between the first access gateway and the second access gateway. The first access gateway provides the portion of available network resource as additional network resources for the second access gateway. The method also includes collecting information regarding operation of the two access gateways, processing information for identifying assessment rules regarding availability of network resources, exploiting the assessment rules for determining availability of network resources, and providing available network resources from the first access gateway to the second access gateway according to the availability of network resources.

Method and system of cooperation among access gateways for bandwidth sharing

It is disclosed a method and system for recognizing coffee capsules used by a capsule coffee machine, wherein a vibration sensor is arranged within the capsule coffee machine to detect vibrations of a machine component (e.g. the pump, or the capsule holder, or the hydraulic circuit connecting the pump with the capsule holder) rigidly connected with the coffee capsule fitted in the machine during the brewing of a coffee beverage. As the brewing is started, the vibration sensor detects the vibrations to which the machine component (and all the other machine components rigidly connected thereto during the brewing, including the variable-mass coffee capsule) is subjected, and generates a vibration signal corresponding thereto. The vibration signal is then processed for determining at least one parameter thereof. The coffee capsule is then recognized based on the value of the determined parameter(s).

Method and system for coffee capsule recognition

A method for enabling a calling user to establish a communication session with a called user, the calling user being associated with at least one calling user device and the called user being associated with at least one called user device, wherein the communication session can be established through a plurality of possible communication services and provisioning of said plurality of possible communication services is enabled through a corresponding plurality of communication service actuators, includes: a) receiving from the at least one calling user device, a request to establish a communication session with the called user, b) determining if, among said plurality of possible communication services, there is at least one communication service currently available to establish a communication session with the called user at the at least one called user device, based on current context information on the called user, c) in the affirmative case of b), selecting one of the at least one currently available communication service based on predetermined policies, and d) sending to the communication service actuator that enables the provision of the communication service selected in c) suitable information for starting establishment of the communication session between the calling user and the called user through the selected communication service.

Method and system for managing communication sessions set-up between users

Method for providing information on a context parameter relating to a consumer device of a telecommunication system which includes a plurality of provider devices. The method includes: a) checking if data relevant to the context parameter are available for the consumer device; b) in the positive case of a), obtaining the information on the context parameter relating to the consumer device based upon the available data; c) in the negative case of a), checking, according to predetermined proximity rules, if among the plurality of provider devices, there is at least one nearby provider device that, with regard to the context parameter, is in the proximity of the consumer device; d) in the positive case of c), checking if data useful to determine the information on the context parameter relating to the consumer device are available for the at least one nearby provider device, and e) in the positive case of d), determining the context information on the consumer device based upon the data available for the at least one nearby provider device.
