The invention relates to a light emitting device (LED), especially a LED at least partly embedded in transparent or translucent silicone fill, whereby the embedded LED is housed in a white silicone housing. Here and in the following, the wording transparent silicone fill always means a transparent or translucent silicone material. The invention further relates to a method for embedding the LED partly in a white silicone housing on the one hand and partly in transparent silicone fill on the other hand. The invention finally relates to the transparent silicone fill. The inner part of the LED device is at least partly embedded in transparent silicone fill, wherein the at least partly embedded LED device is housed in a white silicone housing comprising a white box silicone. A part of the inner part of the LED device is embedded in the white box silicone.

Light emitting device

A lighting device, wherein the effectivity is increased and allows maintaining a simple manufacturing process, comprises: a housing having a longitudinal direction, the housing comprising: reflective side walls extending in the longitudinal direction, a first cavity disposed between the reflective side walls, and an opening of the first cavity for the passage of light from the first cavity; LEDs, each having a light-emitting face and side faces, wherein the LEDs are arranged on interposers for providing electrical connection of the LEDs, wherein the LEDs are arranged in the first cavity such that the LEDs are at least partially arranged along the longitudinal direction of the housing; and a reflection element that covers a side of the interposers facing the opening, wherein the reflection element surrounds the LEDs on the side faces, and is configured as strip comprising through holes in which the LEDs are arranged.

The invention refers to a lighting device. The object to provide a lighting device in particular with flexible properties, wherein the mechanical robustness with respect to thermomechanical stresses is improved, is solved in that the lighting device comprises: at least one light-emitting element, wherein the at least one light-emitting element is arranged on connection elements for an electronic connection to the at least one light-emitting element, at least one encapsulating material surrounding at least part of the connection elements, wherein at least one connection element comprises at least one spring section. The invention further refers to a method for producing a lighting device and a use of a lighting device.

An LED lamp includes a lamp base for insertion into a reflector of an automotive front lighting assembly; a panel extending from the lamp base with a first vertical side facing into one half of the reflector and a second vertical side facing into the other half of the reflector; a primary light source including a set of LED dies on each vertical side of the panel; a two-part shield including a first shield half shielding the LED dies on the first vertical side of the panel and a second shield half shielding the LED dies on the second vertical side of the panel. The two-part shield essentially has the form of a shield in a functionally equivalent filament lamp for providing a low beam. A lighting arrangement includes such an LED lamp; a reflector to receive the lamp; and an electrical interface for connecting to a controller.
