The present disclosure provides a feed injector for a gasification system. The feed injector may include an inner tube defining an inner feed passage therein, an intermediate tube defining an intermediate feed passage therein, and an outer tube defining an outer feed passage therein. The outer tube may include an outer tube pipe portion and an outer tube tip portion attached to one another, and the outer tube tip portion may be formed of a ceramic matrix composite, a sintered Silicon Carbide, or a sintered Silicon Nitride. The present disclosure also provides a related method of operating a feed injector of a gasification system as well as a related integrated gasification combined cycle power plant.

Feed injector for a gasification system

A condition monitoring system for a pressure vessel includes at least one vibration monitoring probe coupled to at least one pressure vessel component. The system also includes at least one computing device that includes a memory device configured to store data associated with the at least one vibration monitoring probe. The computing device also includes at least one input channel configured to receive the data associated with the at least one vibration monitoring probe. The computing device further includes a processor coupled to the memory device and the at least one input channel. The processor is programmed to determine a deterioration of the material condition of the at least one pressure vessel component by comparing at least a portion of the data associated with the at least one vibration monitoring probe with predetermined vibration parameters.

Method and system for use in condition monitoring of pressure vessels

A system includes a gasification feed injector. The gasification feed injector includes a tip portion disposed at a fluid exit region of the gasification feed injector, and a tip cap coupled to the tip portion of the gasification feed injector and configured to serve as a thermal barrier for the tip portion during gasification reactions.
