A vehicle suspension system including a vehicle body portion is provided herein. The vehicle suspension system further includes a first suspension lever which is pivotally mounted with respect to a first pivot axis on a first region of the vehicle body portion and pivotally connects a wheel hub or a steering knuckle to the vehicle body portion. The vehicle suspension system further includes a rotation sensor with a first sensor portion of the sensor is fixedly connected to the vehicle body portion and a second sensor portion is fixedly connected to the first suspension lever, where the first and second sensor portions are rotatable with respect to each other about a sensor rotation axis, and the rotation angle between the first and second sensor portions with respect to each other indicates a pivot angle of the first suspension lever.

Methods and systems are provided for a steering pin and knuckle assembly. In one example, the assembly comprises a steering knuckle comprising a recess and a female threaded portion, a steering pin partially received in the recess, a connection member comprising a male threaded portion, and the male threaded portion of the connection member is engaged with the female threaded portion of the steering knuckle and the connection member fixes the steering pin on the steering knuckle.

A rotary joint assembly for a tire inflation system for a vehicle includes a stationary portion defining a first fluid passage. The stationary portion includes a support portion and having a first annular sealing face. The first fluid passage ending in the first annular sealing face. The assembly also includes at least one bearing and a rotatable portion rotatably mounted on the support portion by way of the at least one bearing. The rotatable portion defines a second fluid passage and has a second annular sealing face, the second fluid passage ending in the second annular sealing face. The rotatable portion defines an axis of rotation of the rotatable portion and a radial direction oriented perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The at least one bearing supporting an inner face of the rotatable portion, wherein the inner face of the rotatable portion faces toward the axis of rotation. An annular seal chamber is radially disposed between the first annular sealing face and the second annular sealing face and provides fluid communication between the first fluid passage and the second fluid passage. The at least one bearing and the annular seal chamber at least partially overlap along an axial direction oriented in parallel to the axis of rotation.

Rotary joint assembly for a tire inflation system

A rotary seal arrangement for use with a central tire inflation system is provided. The rotary seal arrangement comprises a stationary portion, a rotating portion, a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring, and a first bushing portion. The stationary portion defines a first air passage therethrough and the rotating portion defines a second air passage therethrough. The first sealing ring and the second sealing ring are each disposed on one of the rotating portion and the stationary portion. The first bushing is disposed on one of the rotating portion and the stationary portion. The first bushing is in dynamic sealing engagement with the first sealing ring. The stationary portion, the rotating portion, the first sealing ring, and the second sealing ring form a sealed cavity that facilitates fluid communication between the first air passage and the second air passage.
