A lifting machine includes a machine chassis, a boom extending from the machine chassis, a connector extending from the boom for coupling to a load, a control system that determines a rated lifting capacity of the machine, based on an orientation of the machine chassis and a lifting load, and a display. The display indicates the rated lifting capacity relative to a total lifting capacity, and the display also indicates the lifting load relative to the rated lifting capacity and the total lifting capacity.

Lifting capacity systems and methods for lifting machines

A controller may obtain, from one or more first devices of a first machine, first information regarding a load associated with a first portion of an object. The first portion, of the object, may be carried by an implement of the first machine and a second portion, of the object, may be carried by an implement of a second machine. The controller may obtain, from one or more second devices of the first machine, second information regarding an orientation of the first machine. The controller may determine, based on the first information and a threshold derived based on the second information, that a load drop condition is satisfied; perform a first action associated with dropping the load; and transmit, to the second machine, information regarding the first action to cause the second machine to perform a second action.

A system may comprise a device. The device may be configured to receive, from one or more sensor devices of the machine, sensor data associated with wear of one or more components of an undercarriage of the machine; and predict, using a machine learning model and the sensor data, an amount wear of the one or more components based on a wear rate of the one or more components. The machine learning model is trained, using training data, to predict the wear rate of the one or more components. The training data includes two or more of: historical sensor data, historical inspection data, or simulation data, of a simulation model, from one or more third devices. The device may perform an action based on the amount of wear.

Undercarriage wear prediction using machine learning model

A work machine includes a frame assembly supporting an idler and a drive sprocket. A track is looped around the idler and the drive sprocket. A track-adjust mechanism is configured to extend and to retract the frame assembly to adjust a tension of the track. A position sensor is configured to measure an extension of the track-adjust mechanism. A controller is configured to receive an extension measurement from the position sensor, determine a track tension based on the extension measurement, and output a track tension signal.

A system may comprise: a reader device comprising: one or more memories; and one or more processors communicatively coupled to the one or more memories. The one or more processors may be configured to: obtain, using a wireless local area network communication, sensor data from a plurality of sensor devices associated with a machine; identify, from the sensor data, information identifying a sensor device of the plurality of sensor devices; generate sensor device information that associates the information identifying the sensor device with information identifying a component of the machine; and transmit the sensor device information to cause the machine to be updated using the sensor device information.

A trunnion and socket assembly is provided. The trunnion and socket assembly includes a trunnion, a socket, and a retention assembly. The trunnion includes a first portion and a second portion, the second portion defining an outer diameter. The retention assembly includes at least two cap elements and a ring member. The cap elements are coupled in an abutting relationship with a first surface of the socket. The cap elements have a second surface and a third surface. The ring member is adapted to be coupled in an abutting relationship with the third surface of each of the cap elements. The ring member has a fourth surface and a fifth surface. The ring member defines an inner diameter that is greater than the outer diameter of the second portion of the trunnion.

An assembly for use in adjusting a pitch of a tool relative to a machine may have a link with a first end connectable to the tool and a second end connectable to the machine. The assembly may also have a bushing configured to engage a slot in at least one of the machine and the tool. An offset bore may be formed in the bushing. The assembly may also have a pin passing through the offset bore of the bushing and the link. The bushing may be reconfigurable between a plurality of discrete positions within the slot to incrementally adjust the pitch of the tool relative to the machine.

An accessory attachment system for a machine is disclosed. The accessory attachment system includes a housing configured to be detachably coupled with the machine. A plurality of electric connectors is disposed in the housing. The plurality of electric connectors is communicably coupled with an electrical system of the machine. The plurality of electric connectors is configured to selectively provide an electric power to one or more detachable external devices. A fluid connector is disposed in the housing. The fluid connector is in fluid communication with a hydraulic system of the machine. The accessory attachment system further includes a hydraulic device detachably coupled with the housing. The hydraulic device includes a device fluid connector configured to be fluidly coupled with the fluid connector of the housing. The hydraulic device is selectively powered by the hydraulic system of the machine.
