A tank and closure cap apparatus is disclosed. The tank has an upper end or top with a manhole like larger diameter opening that can be closed with a lid having a smaller diameter opening equipped with an outlet fitting. A specially configured shroud protectively covers the lid clamp and is secured with a closure cap that seals the outlet fitting.

A cargo rack for transferring loads between a marine vessel and an offshore marine platform (for example, oil and gas well drilling or production platform) provides a frame having a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions. The lower end of the frame has a perimeter beam base, a raised floor and a pair of open-ended parallel fork tine tubes or sockets that communicate with the perimeter beam at the front and rear of the frame, preferably being structurally connected (e.g., welded) thereto. Openings in the perimeter beam base align with the forklift tine tubes or sockets. The frame includes a plurality of fixed side walls extending upwardly from the perimeter beam that include at least left and right side walls. A plurality of gates are movably mounted on the frame including a gate at least at the front and at least at the rear of the frame, each gate being movable between open and closed positions, the gates enabling a forklift to place loads on the floor by accessing either the front of the frame or the rear of the frame. Each gate can be pivotally attached to a fixed side wall. The frame has vertically extending positioning beams or lugs that segment the raised floor into a plurality of load-holding positions. Each load holding position has a plurality of positioning beams or lugs that laterally hold a load module (e.g., palletized load) in position once a load is placed on the raised floor.

Offshore cargo rack for use in transferring palletized loads between marine vessel and an offshore platform

A cargo rack for transferring loads between a marine vessel and an offshore marine platform (for example, oil and gas well drilling or production platform) provides a frame having a base, a front, a rear, upper and lower end portions and side walls. The lower end of the frame has a floor. Openings in the base align with forklift tine tubes or sockets. The frame includes a pair of fixed side walls extending upwardly from the base that include at least left and right side walls. A plurality of gates are movably mounted on the frame including a gate at least at the front and at least at the rear of the frame, each gate being movable between open and closed positions. The gates enable a forklift to place loads on the floor by accessing either the front of the frame or the rear of the frame. Each gate can be pivotally attached to a corner column.

Offshore cargo rack for use in transferring palletized loads between a marine vessel and an offshore platform

A cargo rack includes a frame having a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions. The lower end portion has a base with a floor providing a load holding position. A tank module that is supported with the frame during use, the lower end portion of the tank module resting upon the load holding position of the base. The frame includes a plurality of side walls that attach to and extend upwardly from the base frame. Each side wall has a pair of corner columns, a central plate, and a plurality of diagonal members, each diagonal member connected to a corner column and a central plate. The frame can include at least one horizontally extending beam connecting between each pair of corner columns. The diagonal members include an upper pair that can form an obtuse angle and a lower pair that can form an acute angle.

Rack construction

A method of transporting fluid containing tanks and of off loading the fluid contents of the tanks. Providing a frame having a base with a floor, a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions, the frame including a plurality of side walls extending upwardly from the base and including at least left and right side walls. Mounting a plurality of gates to the frame, each spanning between two corner columns, each gate being movable between open and closed positions, the open position of each gate providing an open doorway, the gates enabling a fork lift to place a selected one of the tanks on the floor by moving the selected load module laterally through a the open doorway. The floor having a plurality of load holding positions. Placing one or more tanks and a work platform on the floor, wherein the work platform has a work surface and a storage area, and a folding staircase that is movable between upper and lower positions, wherein in the lower position stairs are provided that enable a user to climb the stairs and occupy the platform work surface and wherein in the upper position the stairs are positioned above the work surface. The gates enabling removal of any one of the tanks or the work platform laterally when a gate is opened and without removing any other tank. Transporting the frame from a beginning location to an ending location, and wherein the work platform remains on the frame.

Pump assembly storage box and work platform method and apparatus

A fluids management apparatus is disclosed herein that enables management of multiple volumes of different fluids when drilling and/or producing oil and/or gas with an oil and gas well drilling platform. The apparatus includes a structural, transportable frame that has upper and lower reservoir sections, each with a plurality of tanks for holding fluid. The upper reservoir section is easily lifted and transported, such as by crane. A docking station on the lower reservoir section is receptive of the upper reservoir section. A piping system enables a selected fluid volume contained in a tank of the upper reservoir section to be selectively transmitted to a selected tank of the lower reservoir section. The lower reservoir section has its own piping system that enables a user to withdraw fluid from any selected one of its tanks.

Method and apparatus for handling oil and gas well drilling fluids

An ice jacketed cooking apparatus provides a base that supports a plurality of legs that hold a cooking pot at an elevated position above the base. This enables conventional burners to be placed underneath the pot and upon the base during cooking period. A jacket surrounds the cooking pot and enables ice and water to be held in close proximity to the cooking pot and around the cooking pot at a selected time after cooking is completed. The ice enables spicy liquid such as pepper or salt infused water to be cooled quickly without diluting the pepper or spice or salt infused water after cooking is completed.

A method and apparatus for handling fluids on an oil and gas well drilling platform utilizes detachable peripheral frames to reduce the per square foot load transferred to the platform when reservoirs on the apparatus are filled to (or near) capacity.

Fluid handling system

A bulk bag transport apparatus employs a receptacle that is divided into a plurality of bulk bag holding sectors. The receptacle provides a base that is constructed of a plurality of beams such as eye beams including peripheral beams and transverse beams. Each side wall is reinforced with a plurality of inclined beams that preferably join to the transverse bottom beams, one inclined beam attaching to a transverse bottom beam. A plurality of other beams are attached to the upper edge of the receptacle and each inclined beam is structurally joined to a peripheral beam. Lifting eyes are provided along each side of the receptacle, each lifting eye performs an acute angle with an inclined beam and is preferably mounted to an inclined beam. A lifting harness includes slings that can be connected to the lifting eyes. Each side wall has an horizontal flange or a member that enables one of the receptacles to be stacked upon the other of the receptacles wherein the upper peripheral beam of one receptacle engages and supports the horizontal flange or member of another receptacle.
