A transducer assembly comprising: a frame positioned within an interior chamber defined by an enclosure comprising a port to an ambient environment; a surround comprising a fixed portion sealed to the frame and a movable portion dividing the interior chamber into a front volume chamber coupling a first side of the surround to the port and a back volume chamber coupled to a second side of the surround; and a barometric vent coupled to the fixed portion to vent a pressure between the front volume chamber and the back volume chamber.

Systems of the present disclosure include an electronic device with a chassis and a speaker assembly. The speaker assembly can include a speaker support surrounding a speaker and coupled to the chassis via a spring element. The spring element can be monolithically formed with a main body of the speaker support and be configured to reduce transmission of vibrations from the speaker to the chassis. For example, the spring element can include an arm that extends within an opening of the main body to connect the main body to a fastener secured to the chassis. The spring element can be provided with features that facilitate wide distribution of loads and relative movement between the speaker assembly and the chassis.

A portable electronic device is described in this disclosure. The portable electronic device can take many forms including for example a smart watch, a smart phone, or a tablet computing device. The portable electronic device can include a device housing component; and a display assembly coupled to the device housing component. The display assembly includes a protective cover that shields a display component from damage. The portable electronic device also includes an actuator configured to apply a vibratory input to the display assembly. In some embodiments, the actuator contacts both the device housing component and the protective cover of the display assembly. In some embodiments, the actuator is affixed only to an interior-facing surface of the display component.
