A pipe includes a tubular pipe formed of a metal sheet that is spirally wound such that opposite edges of the metal sheet are joined by a crimped lock seam that extends helically along a length of the tubular pipe. A sealing arrangement includes a helically extending worked surface band extending along the crimped lock seam and to both sides of the crimped lock seam, the worked surface band having a surface roughness that is greater than a surface roughness of unworked surface portions outside of the worked surface band. A helically extending external coating band is applied over the crimped lock seam and bonded to the worked surface band.

A stormwater filtration system includes a dry well structure including a top having an access opening, a bottom and a sidewall extending between the top and the bottom to define an internal volume of the dry well structure. A deck assembly partitions the dry well structure into an upper region and a lower region. The deck assembly includes a plurality of deck members sized to be delivered through the access opening of the dry well structure and configured to be assembled within the internal volume to form the deck assembly.

Stormwater filter and mount assembly

A stormwater detention system includes a containment row for removing and collecting solids from stormwater. The containment row may be surrounded by a water-impermeable membrane, and designed to receive incoming water before other rows of the detention system. The containment row collects solids from the stormwater before the water is redirected into one or more additional rows, which are water permeable and buried in water permeable media. Filter structure may be associated with a flow system that delivers water from the containment row to the additional rows.

Stormwater chamber detention system

A filter assembly for use in filtering stormwater includes a bottom including a boss that includes a rib extending laterally along an inner surface of the boss. The rib includes a locking portion that mates with a corresponding locking portion on a peripheral surface of a connection to an outlet conduit for securing the bottom to the connection thereby inhibiting rotation of the bottom relative to the outlet conduit. A center tube is secured to the bottom using a locking mechanism that inhibits relative movement between the bottom and the center tube. The center tube is in communication with an opening in the bottom and a hood is secured to the center tube. A filter medium is located between the hood and the center tube.

Stormwater filter assembly

A stormwater filtration system includes a stormwater containment structure including a concrete floor and a pre-assembled flow structure embedded in the concrete floor. The pre-assembled flow structure includes an inlet compartment housing, an outlet compartment housing and at least one filter conduit positioned between the inlet compartment housing and the outlet compartment housing and in flow communication with the interior of the outlet compartment housing. At least one bypass conduit extends from the inlet compartment housing to the outlet compartment housing for delivering water from the interior of the inlet compartment housing to the interior of the outlet compartment housing. A plurality of filter units are connected to the filter conduit so that stormwater filtered by the filter units passes into the filter conduit and then to the interior of the outlet compartment housing.

Pre-assembled flow control structured and related media filtration system

A filter assembly is provided that includes a hood, a drain manifold, a filter disposed between the hood and the drain manifold, a drainage space that is disposed between and in fluid communication with both the filter medium and the drain manifold, a check valve that is configured to permit air to escape but not to enter the drainage space so that a siphon can be established that draws additional fluid through the filter medium and into the drain manifold, the siphon continuing until air entering the hood disrupts the siphon, and a check valve cap that is configured to permit air to escape the check valve while preserving an air-filled void above the check valve when the filter assembly is submerged.

A fully protective multi-unit railroad freight car for carrying motor vehicles on two or three levels with the lowest level being in a cargo well between a pair of deep side sills. A pair of vehicle-carrying decks are adjustable in height and are counterbalanced against each other during adjustment of their locations. A roof structure is light in weight and constructed of corrugated sheet metal with a self-supporting central portion. The ends of the car are equipped with three-panel folding doors, and a flexible diaphragm closes the space between articulated adjacent car units supported by a shared truck. A modular brake operating system is mounted on the car body. An easily removable brake system module incorporates a compressed air reservoir, a dummy reservoir, a brake control valve, train line and brake cylinder connector lines, and a support structure. The module is easily removable and replaceable, allowing for repair and system testing at a shop.
