The present invention relates to a dental topical anesthetic gel containing a full spectrum blend of active cannabinoids and at least one component including tetracaine, benzocaine, lidocaine, and butamben. Further, the dental topical gel may also contain a chemical penetration enhancer, at least one drug to enhance the effects of cannabinoids, at least one antibacterial agent and at least one antifungal agent. The forms and use of the dental topical anesthetic gel are also disclosed.

The invention relates to nano-sized complexes formed by associating or attaching amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) and/or amorphous calcium fluoride phosphate (ACFP) with an amphiphilic polymer surfactant (APS) and a bioadhesive polymer. The bioadhesive polymer may serve as a connector or an anchor to attach the nano ACP-APS or ACFP-APS to the tooth surface and to chemically bond the calcium in the enamel to the calcium ions in the nano ACP-APS or ACFP-APS complexes, thus allowing for more controlled release of remineralizing components into the oral cavity. Methods of use of the composition and kits are also disclosed.

Prophy angle device and method of use

A dental syringe device that provides air and water to a dental patient. The device includes an adapter that connects a dental tip to a dental syringe body. The dental syringe body provides a conventional syringe body with a handle for a dentist to hold onto and a source of air and water. The tip delivers the air and water to the dental patient. The adapter is an improved adapter having a unique release and attachment component allowing for a quick connect and disconnect between the dental syringe body and the tip. The tip advantageously includes an inner portion with large and uniform air channels for smooth transfer of air and an outer portion made from a rigid plastic that provides an improved cheek retraction feature.

A system and method for providing a communications link between an owner of a lost article and a person that finds the lost article. The method includes detecting at a communication device of the person that finds the lost article, a beaconing signal generated by an electronic beacon device when the communication device is in proximity of the communication device. The beaconing signal is associated with an owner of the electronic beacon device. The communication device may transmit, to a server, location information and identification information inherent within the beaconing signal. The server may return one or more communication options enabling a user of the communication device to contact the owner of the electronic beacon device. Such communication options may comprise, for example, voice communication, video communication or communication via text message. In one embodiment the communication options enable communication to occur while maintaining the anonymity of the owner.

This invention describes a device for assaying a dry or small volume liquid sample on a lateral flow capillary assay by utilizing a supplementary non-sample aqueous solution that will push the sample up the assay without diluting or significantly diluting the original sample. This invention enables a sample to be assayed rapidly and/or on-site when the sample is in dried or solid form, or when the liquid volume is too small to complete an assay. As an option, the device can display a colored signal when a sufficient amount of liquid sample has been collected or added to the device. The minimal liquid volume requirement of the device significantly reduces the sample collection time to a matter of seconds and resolves situations in which fluids available for collection are not abundant. Therefore, this invention allows the lateral flow test device to be a more rapid, efficient, and versatile apparatus.

A dental mixing device with a barrel, a mixing tip, and a plunger. The plunger moves dental material through the barrel where it is mixed using a mixing tip. The mixing tip includes an auto-aligning fitting female element configured to align with an auto-aligning fitting male element of the barrel. This auto-alignment simplifies the attachment between the mixing tip and the barrel. The mixing tip also includes a seal component with a soft material (or component) to insert into the auto-aligning fitting element which is a hard material (or component) to achieve a seal. The seal component and auto-alignment fitting element can be combined together into one component instead of two components.

One embodiment of a piezoelectric generator which uses fibrous piezoelectric sensors to harness energy from sound and vibrations. These sensors will be fitted into a multilayered base consisting of a sound reflecting layer and alternating layers of conductive and nonconductive materials. The sound reflecting layer will serve to increase energy generation efficiency when multiple sheets of the apparatus is used, and the alternating layers of conductive and nonconductive materials will collect electricity generated from the piezoelectric sensors. Once collected, this electricity will then be used to power appliances or be stored in a battery for future use. Other embodiments are described and shown.
