A computerized electro-mechanical drug delivery device configured to deliver at least one dose of two or more medicaments. The device comprises a control unit. An electro-mechanical drive unit is operably coupled to the control unit and a primary reservoir for a first medicament and a secondary reservoir for a fluid agent, e.g. a second medicament. An operator interface is in communication with the control unit. A single dispense assembly is configured for fluid communication with the primary and the secondary reservoir. Activation of the operator panel sets a first dose from the primary reservoir and based on the first dose and a therapeutic dose profile, the control unit is configured to determine a dose or range of the fluid agent. Alternatively, the control unit determines or calculates a dose or range of a third medicament. Further, a dispense interface for use with a drug delivery device is disclosed.

A drug delivery device includes a piston rod which extends along a longitudinal axis of the drug delivery device, wherein the piston rod is adapted to apply an axial load in the distal direction to a cartridge bung in order to dispense a medicament contained in the cartridge. In order to improve the convenience of the injection process and to mitigate the risk of underdosing due to a blocked needle a cartridge bung load indicator is provided, located at the distal end of the piston rod and adapted to abut against the cartridge bung, wherein the cartridge bung load indicator comprises an indicator element that audibly, tangibly and/or visually indicates a load state of the piston rod to the user.

A first needle held within a first needle hub of the connecting body and a second needle fixed within a second needle hub of the connecting body. A recess within the connecting body defining a reservoir. The reservoir containing at least one dose of a medicament and configured for fluid communication with the first needle. The connecting body further comprises a lockout feature that prevents the medicated module from being reconnected to the drug delivery device after the medicated module has been connected to the drug delivery device a first time.

The invention relates to a method for delivering at least one fluid medicament from a medical device. The invention also relates to a medical device. The technical problem of improving the dose accuracy is solved by a method for delivering at least one fluid medicament from a medical device comprising a first reservoir containing a first fluid medicament, a second reservoir containing a fluid, and a fluid element connected to said first reservoir and said second reservoir. When the inner facing protrusion is in the third path, it encounters a hard stop and a rotational bias that locks the guard from further refraction and thus covers the sharp distal end of the needle.
