Systems and methods for adaptation of content to mobile devices. A mobile device type can be identified based upon a request originating from the mobile device. Content can also be identified based upon the request. The content can be converted based upon the mobile device type and the converted content can be served to the mobile device.

Adaptation of web-based text ads to mobile devices

The subject matter of this specification can be implemented in, among other things, a method that includes presenting a first window in a graphical user interface. The method includes presenting at least a portion of each secondary window. The method includes presenting one or more indicators indicating that additional windows exist. The method includes receiving a first user selection of a first one of the indicators. The method includes bringing at least one of the additional windows to the foreground, moving the at least one of the additional windows across the graphical user interface to be in view of the graphical user interface, sending the first window and the secondary windows behind the at least one of the additional windows, and moving at least one of the first window and the secondary windows across the graphical user interface to be out of view of the graphical user interface.

Systems and methods for interfacing with a window having a hidden border are provided. In some aspects, a method includes providing for presentation of a first window within a display, while providing for hiding a border of the first window. The method also includes receiving an indication of a first user input for interfacing with an edge of the first window. The method also includes providing for making visible the border of the first window in response to the indication of the first user input.

Hiding window borders

Systems and methods for bringing a window into focus are provided. In some aspects, a method includes providing for display of a first window and a second window in a user interface. The first window is in focus. The second window is not in focus. The method includes receiving a user input for bringing the second window into focus. The method includes brightening at least a dimmed portion of the second window in response to the user input for bringing the second window into focus. The method includes gradually dimming at least a visible portion of the first window in response to the user input for bringing the second window into focus. The method includes pausing the dimming, after expiration of a time period, of the at least the visible portion of the first window.
