The invention relates to a device for the automated production of dental workpieces. A blank is inserted in a substantially slab-shaped support of the device, said support being dimensioned such that the blank does not extend beyond it in any direction. The blank is linked with corresponding inner walls of a recess provided in the support only on two opposite faces while a gap is left between the other inner walls of the recess and the corresponding faces of the blank. The inventive design allows to avoid tensions and microcracks of the blank material thereby caused. The gaps further make the blank directly accessible for a lateral working by the milling tool.

Device for producing dental workpieces

The invention relates to a method for producing dentures by milling a workpiece. The inventive method is characterized in that in the event of a change in the load on the workpiece or on the milling tool, or on the workpiece and on the milling tool, determined before the milling begins and occurring during the milling, the relative speed between the milling tool and the workplace is varied without using a regulation technique.

Method for producing dentures

The invention relates to the coloring of ceramics by means of ionic or complex-containing solutions. Solutions preferred for this contain defined concentrations of at least one of the salts or complexes of the rare earth elements or the elements of the subgroups. The invention also relates to a kit, which comprises at least one stock bottle with such a coloring solution, a receptacle for the coloring as well as optionally a screen.
