A dryer appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a drum, a drying chamber, and a supply duct. The cabinet may define an internal volume. The drum may be mounted within the cabinet. The drum may define a drying chamber, a dryer opening, an air inlet, and a fluid port. The drying chamber may extend from a front end to a rear end. The dryer opening may be defined at the front end to permit articles therethrough to the drying chamber. The air inlet may be defined at the rear end to permit air therethrough to the drying chamber. The fluid port may be spaced apart from the air inlet. The fluid port may extend from the drying chamber to the internal volume. The supply duct may extend within the cabinet to the drum upstream from the air inlet.

A washing machine appliance equipped with door reversing locking and latching features is provided. Particularly, the washing machine appliance includes latching assembly that is movable between various mounting positions and is configured to hold the door in a closed position. A hinge assembly rotatably couples the door with a cabinet of the washing machine appliance and is movable between various mounting positions so that the door swing direction may be reversed. The washing machine appliance also includes a locking assembly for locking the door in the closed position, e.g., during operation of the washing machine appliance. The locking assembly is separate and distinct from the latching assembly and need not be moved when reversing the swing direction of the door.

A lint collection assembly for a dryer appliance includes a filter housing defining an aperture through which a flow of air exits the drying chamber. A roller assembly includes a supply roller for unrolling clean filter medium over the aperture and a collection roller for simultaneously receiving a used section of the filter medium. A drive mechanism, such as an electric motor is coupled directly to the collection roller or to a separate drive roller for moving the filter medium over the aperture between drying cycles to automatically and conveniently collect filtered lint.

A laundry appliance defines a vertical direction, a lateral direction and a transverse direction that are mutually perpendicular to one another. The laundry appliance includes a cabinet defining an opening. A clothes vessel is rotatably mounted within the cabinet. The clothes vessel comprises a base and a hoop with a helical seam extending around the hoop. The clothes vessel is configured for receiving laundry articles to be rotated therein via the opening of the cabinet.

An apparatus for breaking ice clumps in a refrigerator. The apparatus includes an ice storage bin, an axle rotatably supported by an ice storage bin, an actuator operatively coupled to the axle and an ice breaker operatively coupled to the actuator. The ice breaker moves in a reciprocal manner upon the driving of the axle and the actuator. Such reciprocal movement of the ice breaker breaks ice clumps in the storage bin.

A method for operating a refrigerator having a driving assembly and an ice storage bin. The driving assembly is releasably engageable with the ice storage bin. The driving assembly has a motor fork. The ice storage bin supports an axle, to which a coupler is secured. The method includes engaging the motor fork with the coupler secured, rotating the motor fork in a first direction based on a user's input, and rotating the motor fork in a second direction opposite to the first direction for a predetermined time or by a predetermined angle at the end of the user's input.

The bottom wall, side walls, front wall, and back wall define an ice collection cavity. The ice bucket also includes a plurality of ribs extending from the bottom wall into the ice collection cavity, and a rotatable auger extending between the front and back walls.
