An aircraft door, and, more particularly, to an electromechanical door system for operating an aircraft door that closes an opening in the outer hull of an aircraft, as well as to a method of operating an electromechanical door system of an aircraft door that closes an opening in the outer hull of an aircraft. The electromechanical door system may be adapted for operating in a normal opening mode, an emergency opening mode, and a closing mode. If desired, the electromechanical door system may include a lifting and lowering lever, a lifting and lowering electric motor, and a gearbox that transmits a force from the lifting and lowering electric motor to the lifting and lowering lever.

Electromechanical door system for an aircraft

A vane machine for expansion or compression of gases, air, engine exhaust, vapors or a mixture thereof, includes a housing with a cylindrical space having inlet and outlet ports, a shaft offset in parallel or eccentric relative to a central housing axis and first and second circular discs on the shaft mutually offset in parallel. Slides are guided by the circular discs and displaceable in direction of an inner housing wall. Vane cells are formed by two neighboring slides and an adjoining region of the wall and volumes of the vane cells in vicinity of the inlet and outlet ports differ. To obtain reliability and efficiency, each circular disc has a plurality of circular arcuate slots, each slide can have a circular arc shape on an end facing the housing, and the circular arcuate part of each slide moves into circular arcuate slots of first and second circular discs.

Vane machine

The housing of a vane-type machine has a largely cylindrical space for accommodating the vane cells. A shaft is eccentrically arranged in the housing. First and second guide plates are provided on the shaft. Slides displaceable largely radially to the shaft in the direction of the inner housing wall are guided by the guide plates. A vane cell is formed with the participation of two adjacent slides of the adjacent region of the inner housing wall and the volume of the vane cells in the region of an inlet opening differs from the volume of the vane cells in the region of an outlet opening. To increase the speed of the shaft and the temperature of the medium, the slides are lubricated by pressure oil and radially and axially guided by a guideway, which is fixed with respect to the housing.
