A foldable and deployable assembly for use to transfer RF signals comprises a RF transmitter/receiver adapted to operate in the RF range S and up, a transmit/receive horn unit to attach the assembly to an antenna operable in the RF range S and up and a foldable/deployable RF waveguide connected between the RF transmitter/receiver and the transmit/receive horn and operable in the RF range of S and up, the waveguide is formed as a hollow elongated piece made of at least one of silicone based shape memory composite carbon fiber reinforced silicone (CFRS) and graphite with silicone.

Device and method for folded deployable waveguide

An antenna assembly tunable from remote comprising a main reflector a sub-reflector associated with the main reflector, and a feed adapted receive transmission illuminating the main reflector via the sub-reflector, or to transmit transmission to the main reflector via the sub-reflector. System, device and method for tuning a remote antenna

Generally, system and method for calibration an in-orbit satellite are provided. The method may comprise transmitting, by a Geosynchronous (GEO) satellite, a GEO satellite signal and receiving, by a Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) satellite, the GEO satellite signal when the LEO satellite crosses a predetermined transmission footprint of the GEO satellite at a predetermined LEO satellite location. The method may comprise determining, by a base station, a GEO satellite location at which the GEO satellite signal is received by the LEO satellite. The method may comprise comparing, by the base station, the transmitted GEO satellite signal and the received GEO satellite signal and further determining, by the base station, based on at least one of the comparison thereof, the predetermined LEO satellite location and the GEO satellite location, a GEO satellite transmission performance at a specific geographical location on ground.

Method for calibrating and commissioning communication satellites using LEO satellites

A modular two-part welding and processing platform is described. A cart section is capable of rotating around objects such as pipes and cylinders, or of linear travel along plates or the like. This cart section reversibly couples to a processing section supplied for instance with welding apparatus, painting apparatus, cleaning means, analysis means or the like. By means of this two-part device, work pieces can be cleaned, welded, and inspected quickly and accurately. Special marks may be provided on the work piece which in conjunction with sensors and motoring means on the cart, allow for precise positioning of the process head with respect to the work.
