A fence includes a wall panel portion having an upper edge and a lower edge, and a plurality of tubular pockets running across the wall panel between the upper edge and the lower edge. The tubular pockets each configured to receive a mounting post. The upper edge and the lower edge can each include a channel in which a draw cord is threaded. The fence can further include an apron portion extending from the lower edge of the wall panel portion. Methods of installing the fence are also provided.

Fence system and method of use

A system for stabilization of a shoreline includes a plurality of stakes and a flexible sheet switchable between an open configuration and a folded configuration. The sheet has a first edge and a second edge, and each edge includes a channel in which an anchoring rope runs through. An organic material is disposed in a body region of the flexible sheet when the sheet is in the folded configuration. The first edge and second edge are secured to the plurality of stakes by the anchoring ropes.

Shoreline stabilization, restoration, and runoff filtration

A system for stabilization of a shoreline comprising a sheet having an unfolded state and a folded state, the sheet comprising a first edge and a second opposing edge connected by a first end and a second end, the sheet comprising a first layer formed from a first degradable fabric and a second layer formed from a second degradable fabric, the sheet further comprising channels formed at each of the first edge and the second edge, the channels formed from one or more of the first and the second fabrics, each of the channels comprising an anchor rope threaded therethrough, and each of the channels comprising a plurality of openings, wherein the anchor rope extends through the plurality of openings for securement to a shoreline surface by the anchor rope, and methods of using the same.

Various embodiments described herein provide shoreline restoration modules which may be anchored together along a shoreline of a body of water, such as a lake or pond, to facilitate restoration of the shoreline. The shoreline restoration modules may include a photodegradable material selected to degrade over a period of years, such as four years or five years, while maintaining strength over the period of years to prevent breakdown of a media enclosed by the shoreline restoration modules. In some embodiments, the shoreline restoration modules also provide beneficial run off nutrient, silt, and other particulate matter trapping and filtering.
