A turbine includes an outer casing and an inner casing surrounded by said outer casing. The outer casing and inner casing are coaxially arranged with respect to a machine axis. The outer casing and inner casing are each divided in a split plane into an upper part and a lower part. The upper and lower parts are connected with each other in said split plane by means of a flanged connection. The disassembly process is improved by the flanged connection of the upper and lower part of the inner casing comprising a plurality of bolts, which extend each through through holes in respective flanges of said flanged connection of the inner casing, protrude from said through holes at both ends with a threaded section, and are tightened by means of nuts screwed on said threaded sections at both ends of said bolt.

Turbomachine and method for disassembling such a turbomachine

A method is disclosed of disassembling a gas turbine which includes a combustor, a liner, a turbine vane carrier (TVC) and an outer housing, the method including disengaging the liner from the TVC and removing the TVC from the gas turbine. The liner is disengaged from the TVC before the TVC is removed, the liner remains inside the outer housing and the combustor remains in the outer housing.

A mounting and dismounting device for a liner of a gas turbine includes two inner rails attached at the turbine housing and each one having a first straight portion, two straight outer rails releasably attached at the turbine housing, wherein the adjacent free ends of the inner and outer rails can be positioned in full alignment one to the other. The rails are adapted to support the liner to be moveable in its axial direction. The inner rails include a second straight portion connected to the first straight portion through a curved portion wherein the axis of the second straight portion is parallel to the axis of the combustion gas passageway.

Mounting and dismounting device for a liner of a gas turbine and a related method

A turbine part replacing apparatus for moving a combustor of an industrial gas turbine from and to a mounting port of the gas turbine is disclosed, the apparatus including a mobile frame with a moving mechanism for substantially horizontal translation motion on the ground, a vertically extendable arm attached to and extending from said mobile frame, and a carriage attached to the extendable arm such that the carriage may be moved vertically with respect to the mobile frame. Moreover, the turbine part replacing apparatus is adapted for receiving the combustor in the carriage and for vertically moving the received combustor by the extendable arm from and to the mounting port.

The invention refers to a rotary flow machine having a rotor unit, rotating about a rotational axis, around which in at least one partial axial area a stationary inner housing (IH) is provided at a radial distance. The stationary inner housing (IH) can be divided up along the rotational axis in an upper and a lower inner housing half which adjoin each other along a horizontal split plane. The inner housing (IH) is surrounded in at least one axial section by an outer housing (OH) which can be divided up along the rotational axis in one upper and one lower outer housing half. Further a method for disassembling of a rotary flow machine is disclosed. The lower inner housing half provides support means which support the inner lower housing half on the lower outer housing half. The support means are detachably mounted at the lower inner housing half at least at two opposite support positions (P, P) relative to the rotational axis along the split plane.

Rotary flow machine and method for disassembling the same

A gas turbine is provided and includes a compressor, which via an air intake inducts and compresses air; a combustion chamber, in which a fuel is combusted using the compressed air, producing a hot gas; and a turbine, equipped with turbine blades, in which the hot gas is expanded, performing work. A first device is provided in order to cool turbine blades with compressed cooling air. The first device includes at least one separate compressor stage which produces compressed cooling air independently of the compressor.

The method for removing an inner casing from a machine such as a turbine or compressor includes providing supports between the outer casing and the inner casing of the machine, removing a top part of the outer casing, then removing a top part of the inner casing, then connecting a ring sector to a bottom part of the inner casing to replace the removed top part of the inner casing, then rotating the reciprocally connected ring sector and bottom part of the inner casing around the longitudinal axis to make the bottom part of the inner casing accessible, then removing the bottom part of the inner casing, guiding the reciprocally connected ring sector and bottom part of the inner casing during rotation, to prevent movement along the longitudinal axis.

Method and guide for removing an inner casing from a turbomachine

A high-pressure compressor (), in particular in a gas turbine (), has a compressor rotor () which is surrounded by a stator () thereby forming a main flow channel () and which is delimited at the compressor outlet by an end face () substantially extending in the radial direction, along which end face cooling air () is conveyed in the radial direction for the purpose of cooling. A prolonged service life is achieved in that the end face () is provided with a first system () for improving the heat transfer between the cooling air () and the end face ().

The method for removing an inner casing from a machine includes removing a top part of the outer casing, removing a top part of the inner casing, removing the bottom part of the inner casing, before removing the bottom part of the inner casing connecting the bottom part of the inner casing to the rotor, such that the bottom part of the inner casing is supported by the rotor, then rotating the rotor around the longitudinal axis to make the bottom part of the inner casing accessible.
