Embodiments include systems and methods of certificate-key pair generation. A processor of a network element may anticipate a demand for certificate-key pairs, and the processor may generate certificate-key pairs at a key length in accordance with the anticipated demand. The processor may monitor whether the generation of the certificate-key pairs at the key length meets an observed demand for the certificate-key pairs. The processor may adjust the key length when the generation of the certificate-key pairs at the key length does not satisfy the observed demand for the certificate-key pairs.

Systems and methods of dynamically adapting security certificate-key pair generation

In an embodiment, a communication device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), a server, etc.) determines one or more current parameters associated with an operating environment of the first UE, and then excludes at least one communication mode from one or more available communication modes to produce a set of communication modes by which a second UE is recommended to contact the first UE. In another embodiment, the communication device selectively recommends communication groups to users of UEs with current operational capabilities similar to characteristics of the recommended communication groups. In another embodiment, a server determines that a threshold number or a threshold percentage of group-members of an existing communication group are friends with a set of users that do not yet belong to the existing communication group, and then recommends that the set of users join the existing communication group.

Recommending information associated with a user equipment or a communication group in a communications system

In an embodiment, a given UE joins a local group communication session between a group of UEs, establishes itself as a director, obtains media feeds captured by media capturing UEs in the group of UEs and transmits a selected subset of the media feeds to a server for transmission to target UEs. In another embodiment, the server receives the media feeds itself and sends the media feeds to a director UE. The director UE indicates a selection of the subset of the media feeds to the server, and the server transmits the selected subset of media feeds to the target UEs. Accordingly, a local director UE can direct the subset to the target UEs by controlling which media feeds are sent to the server, or a remote director UE can direct the subset to the target UEs by controlling which media feeds the server sends to the target UEs.

Selectively directing media feeds to a set of target user equipments

Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media are disclosed that allow adaptive automatic detail diagnostic log collection for self-diagnosis and auto-recovery. In an embodiment, a group communication server determines that a fault has occurred with a group communication between wireless communication devices. The group communication server determines a set of events to log based on the fault, and instructs components that host the group communication to begin logging a set of events. Upon determining that logging the set of events can no longer be performed, such as due to too high of a load within a component of the group communication, the group communication server adapts the logging by logging a second set of events that will not cause too high a load, and can dynamically when resources become available.

Adaptive automatic detail diagnostic log collection in a wireless communication system

In an embodiment, a given user equipment (UE) in a local communication session (e.g., a P2P or ad-hoc session) between multiple UEs is designated to record session data. The given UE records the session data exchanged between the multiple UEs during the local communication session and uploads the recorded session data to a server after the local communication session has terminated. In another embodiment, a session controller (e.g., a remote server or a P2P node) receives multiple media feeds from multiple transmitting UEs, and selectively interlaces subsets of the multiple media feeds into interlaced output feed(s) that are transmitted to target UE(s). The target UE(s) provide feedback which permits the session controller to determine a lowest relevant configuration (LRC) for the target UE(s) that is used to regulate the interlaced output feed(s) transmitted thereto.

Storing local session data at a user equipment and selectively transmitting group session data to group session targets based on dynamic playback relevance information

A system and method for producing real-time results of performance data for wireless communications servers are disclosed. A plurality of bins, each bin corresponding to a range, are maintained. When a measurable event is detected, the event is placed into the corresponding bin. When a performance metric is desired, it is calculated based on each bin, and the metric is returned, with an accuracy inversely proportional to the size.
