The invention relates to a method for creating elevations () in a workpiece () by forming techniques. In a first step, depressions () are created, with dimensions that differ from dimensions of depressions () to be created between the elevations (). In a second step, the elevations () are created from regions () between the depressions (). The invention also relates to an apparatus for implementing the method and to a product thereby created.

Method for creating elevations in a workpiece, apparatus and product

A constant velocity joint having an inner hub, an annular outer hub, a plurality of balls and a shaft connection component, with the outer hub in contact with the shaft connection component. The shaft connection component has, at an end region facing the outer hub, a securing structure which is in contact with a contacting structure of the outer hub. The outer hub contacting structure includes recesses corresponding to the raised portions of shaft connection component. The raised portions engage in the recesses to form a securing structure. The tracks and the recesses of the outer hub are arranged axially in alignment with each other.

Constant velocity joint

A cam having at least two part cams are arranged axially behind one another along a longitudinal axis includes an undercut between the cam parts. The part cams have running faces which lie radially on the outside of the part cams and have different variable running face contours. The undercut has a profile with a variable contour which is dependent in each case on that adjacent running face contour which is at a smaller radial spacing from the longitudinal axis than the other running face contour.

A joint arrangement includes comprising a joint, a nut and an adapter unit. The joint has an inner hub, an outer hub, balls and a cage with recesses for the balls. The inner hub has a recess with an inner toothing for receiving a first shaft. A cavity of the joint arrangement located around the balls is closed on two end sides by a respective sealing device. The adapter unit includes a first adapter portion and a second adapter portion which cooperate to transmit torque across the joint arrangement to or from a second shaft.
