An electrochemical battery cell for a battery module for an electrically drivable motor vehicle, includes a cell housing and a spacer element which is secured to one housing face of the cell housing in order to be supported in an electrically insulating manner on an adjacent cell housing at a distance therefrom. The spacer element includes an electrically insulating insulation layer that is fastened to the housing face of the cell housing, and, for supporting purposes, a tolerance compensating layer which is fastened to the insulation layer and projects therefrom.

An accumulator assembly includes first and second accumulator cells, each of which includes at least one electrical connection element. The accumulator assembly also includes a cell connector element which electrically connects the electrical connection element of the first accumulator cell with the electrical connection element of the second accumulator cell. The cell connector element is welded at least onto one of the electrical connection elements via a plurality of welding locations. The number and the location of the welding locations are selected according to an expected current density in such a way that more welding locations are arranged at locations with a higher expected current density, and zero or fewer welding locations are arranged at locations with a lower expected current density.

A battery module for a high-voltage battery of a motor vehicle has at least two battery cells, two pressure plates, between which the battery cells are arranged, and at least two tie rods, which are led along opposite side regions of the at least two battery cells and which are connected to the pressure plates, forming a cell module frame surrounding the battery cells and pressing the battery cells against one another. The tie rods are integrally connected to the respective side regions of the battery cells by an adhesive connection.

A motor vehicle battery module, in particular for an electric or hybrid vehicle, includes at least two battery cells which are situated laterally next to one another and form a battery pack, two pressure plates which are situated on opposite sides of the battery pack, and at least one spacer element which has a first bearing surface by which the at least one spacer element bears against a side surface of an adjoining battery cell. The pressure plates are arranged in such a way that the at least two battery cells are arranged between the two pressure plates. The bearing surface is smaller than the side surface, which adjoins the spacer element, of the adjoining battery cell, and therefore part of the side surface is unsupported.

Motor vehicle battery module

A method for producing an energy storage cell, in particular a lithium-ion cell, whose housing is elastically deformable include introducing at least one electrode coil or electrode stack, having at least two electrodes and at least one separator arranged between the electrodes, into a housing. The method also includes introducing an electrolyte into the housing, and filling the housing with gas and generating an excess pressure in the housing, by which at least one housing wall of the housing is curved outward. The housing is sealed in a gas-tight manner such that the excess pressure in the housing and the curvature of the at least one housing wall are maintained, and such that the housing is elastically deformable in a direction perpendicular to the at least one curved housing wall.

A cell-contacting system for a motor-vehicle battery module, in particular for an electric or hybrid vehicle includes an, in particular, substantially plate-shaped support structure and multiple separate contact elements, each of which is used to contact two adjacent battery cells of the motor-vehicle battery module. The contact elements are arranged next to one another in a first row, each element being fixed at one side to the support structure.
