A light fixture can include a housing comprising at least one wall that forms a cavity, wherein the housing complies with applicable standards for a hazardous environment. The light fixture can also include an antenna assembly disposed on an outer surface of the housing. The antenna assembly can provide communication with another device within the hazardous environment without compromising the applicable standards for the hazardous environment.

Semiconductor LEDs or other light emitting source that produce light when electrically powered are located behind a lens that is secured to the housing body by the bezel. One or more incandescent light bulbs that include an electric filament that produce light when electrified as well as one or more fluorescent bulbs that produce light based at least in part on the electrification and illumination of a plasma or gas can also be used as a source of illumination. For example, the light fixture can further include a driver housing that includes a driver housing cover to permit access to at least one driver and/or battery backup components located within the driver housing. A lighting system can include a light fixture located in a hazardous environment, wherein the light fixture comprises a controller. The light fixture can also include a sensor module communicably coupled to the controller of the light fixture, wherein the sensor module comprises a sensor module housing and a sensor disposed within the sensor module housing, wherein the sensor module housing comprises a first coupling feature that couples to a hazardous location enclosure. The hazardous location enclosure and the sensor module, when coupled to each other, can comply with applicable standards for the hazardous environment.

The electrical device can also include multiple configurable electronics packages disposed within the first cavity, where the configurable electronics packages are connected to each other and positioned in a first orientation within the first cavity. The configurable packages can be configured to be connected to each other and positioned in a second orientation within a second cavity of a second housing, where the second cavity has a second shape and a second size.

The light fixture can further include a cover coupled to the collar, where the cover includes a first collar coupling feature, where the first collar coupling feature couples to the first cover coupling feature of the collar. The housing can be rotatable relative to the collar and the cover when the cover is decoupled from the collar, where the housing can be held in a fixed position relative to the collar and the cover when the cover is coupled to the collar.

A housing for a light fixture includes at least one wall that forms a cavity and a light source housing portion, where the at least one wall includes a thermally-conductive material, where the light source housing portion is configured to receive at least one light source. The housing can also include a wireway disposed between the cavity and the light source housing portion. The housing can further include multiple heat sink fins that extend from an outer surface of the at least one wall. The housing can also include at least one air throughway that exposes at least a portion of the wireway between the at least one wall and the light source housing portion, where the at least one air throughway allows air to pass over the portion of the wireway, where the at least one air throughway is formed independent of the heat sink fins.

A linear light fixture is provided which includes a housing body onto which a bezel is attached. A housing for a light fixture is described herein. The housing can include a first housing portion having at least one first coupling feature and at least one first receiving feature, where the at least one first receiving feature is configured to receive at least one first light module at a first adjustable distance from the first housing. The housing can also include a second housing portion having at least one second coupling feature, where the at least one second coupling feature mechanically couples to the at least one first coupling feature. A position of the first housing portion relative to the second housing portion can be changed using the at least one first coupling feature and the at least one second coupling feature.

The mounting platform can include a fixture coupling portion having at least one fixture receiving feature, where the at least one fixture receiving feature is configured to couple to a light fixture. The housing can also include a light board coupling portion having at least one light board coupling feature, where the at least one light board coupling feature is configured to couple to at least one light board. The housing can further include an intermediate portion coupled to and positioned between the fixture coupling feature and the light board coupling feature, where the intermediate portion forms a first angle with the fixture coupling feature and a second angle with the light board coupling feature.
