A switchable bidirectional power converter can comprise an interleaved bridge configuration. A multi-phase grid connection to a half-bridge multi-phase switching bank can comprise a first switching half-bridge leg. A single-phase grid connection to a full-bridge single-phase switching bank can comprise the half-bridge multi-phase switching bank interleaved with the full-bridge single-phase switching bank. The full-bridge single-phase switching bank can comprise the first switching half-bridge leg and a second switching half-bridge leg. A capacitor switch can be configured to switch at least two power factor correction capacitors between a parallel connection and a serial connection. The serial connection also includes a center tapping connection to the second switching half-bridge leg. Such a power converter can be used in a bidirectional on-board charger. Ultra-wide range voltages can be handled bidirectionally.

A supercharger includes a rotor housing defining a pair of cylindrical chambers. A driving shaft bearing is to support a driving rotor shaft for rotation in the rotor housing. A driven shaft bearing is to support a driven rotor shaft for rotation in the rotor housing. An oil sump housing is to enclose a timing gear end of the rotor housing. A shaft seal is disposed between the rotor housing and each respective rotor shaft. The oil sump housing, the rotor housing and driving and driven shaft seals define a closed container for oil to lubricate the driving shaft bearing, the driven shaft bearing, a driving timing gear and a driven timing gear. The oil pools in the closed container and a top surface of the oil is spaced below the timing gears when the driving rotor shaft is in a vertical orientation.

A power electronics assembly for a mobile application includes a first power electronics component selectively coupled to a high source on a first side and coupled to a high voltage battery on a second side, a second power electronics component selectively coupled to one of a low load or a low voltage battery on a first side and coupled to the high voltage battery on a second side; and a controller, including an operating mode circuit structured to determine a discharge operating mode for the mobile application, a power electronics configuration circuit structured to provide a switch state value for the first power electronics component and the second power electronics component in response to the discharge operating mode, and wherein the first power electronics component and the second power electronics component are responsive to the switch state value to coupled selected ones of the high source, low load, and low voltage battery to the high voltage battery.

A first aftertreatment enclosure can be configured on the farm machine and include a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet. The first inlet can receive engine exhaust from an engine of the farm machine. The second inlet can receive air from the rotary blower. A temperature of the engine exhaust can be reduced upon exiting the first aftertreatment enclosure through the outlet.

A cooling system for cooling a component on a farm machine according to the present disclosure can include a rotary blower and a manifold. The rotary blower can include a housing and have a first rotor and a second rotor rotatably disposed in the housing. The first and second rotors can have meshed lobes for transporting air from an inlet port to an outlet port. The rotary blower can further include a first rotor shaft and a second rotor shaft rotatably supported by the housing and having first and second rotors, respectively, fixed for rotation therewith. The manifold can direct the air from the rotary blower onto the component of the farm machine.

The present disclosure relates to a boost system that provides boost pressure to an air intake manifold of an engine. The boost system includes a turbocharger and a supercharger that cooperate to provide the pressure boost to the air intake manifold. The first shaft portion can be connected to a pulley. The coupling assembly can couple the first shaft portion to a second shaft portion. The first and second shaft portions can be configured to rotate around a common longitudinal axis. The coupling assembly can be configured to provide torsional damping between the first and second shaft portions. The clutch rotor can be mounted to the second shaft portion. The clutch armature can be mounted to a drive shaft and be unconnected to the first and second shaft portion. The clutch rotor and the clutch armature can selectively cooperate in an engaged position and a disengaged position. In the engaged position, the clutch rotor and the clutch armature rotate together.

A positive displacement pump assembly includes a rotor housing defining a rotor cavity, and an end plate configured to at least partially close one end of the rotor cavity. Rotors are supported on and fixed to rotor shafts and extend through the rotor cavity. A first pair of bearings fixing the rotor shafts to the end plate. A second pair of bearings fixes the rotor shafts to the rotor housing, preventing relative axial movement between the rotor shafts and the rotor housing. The end plate is axially movable with the rotor shafts when the rotor shafts vary in axial length due to thermal fluctuations so that changes in an axial clearance at end faces of the rotors are reduced.

A supercharger includes a supercharger housing, a primary rotor having a primary rotor shaft fixed to rotate therewith. A ring gear with internal teeth is attached to a transmission housing portion of the supercharger housing. A sun gear is fixed to the primary rotor shaft. A planetary gear carrier has a plurality of planetary gear shafts. A plurality of planetary gears rotate about corresponding planetary gear shafts and are meshingly engaged with the sun gear and the ring gear and are substantially equally spaced about the sun gear. A rotatable input shaft is connectable to the planetary gear carrier. The input shaft is connectable to receive rotational motion and power from an engine.

A rotational element coupling device in a supercharger includes a rotatable output shaft having tapered external splines and an output shaft axis of rotation. A coupling disk has a disk axis of rotation coaxial with the output shaft axis of rotation, a tapered internally splined bore coaxial with the disk axis of rotation to engage the tapered external splines, and a plurality of apertures defined in the coupling disk parallel to the disk axis of rotation. A plurality of pins each have a disk end and a timing gear end distal to the disk end. The plurality of pins matingly engages with the coupling disk at the disk end of the pins via the plurality of apertures. A timing gear is fixed to a supercharger rotor for rotation therewith. The timing gear has a plurality of apertures disposed therein to matingly engage with the timing gear end of the plurality of pins.
