The various aspects presented herein relate to the field of antimicrobial compositions and their use as antibacterial agents, or their use for the preparation of antimicrobially active perfuming compositions and consumer products.

Antimicrobial compositions

The present disclosure relates to the field of perfumery and more precisely it concerns a deodorant or an antiperspirant composition comprising a β-thio carbonyl profragrance. The use of the composition to reduce body odour and a dispensing container comprising the composition are also objects of the disclosure.

Antiperspirant or deodorant composition

Described herein are rinse-off hair conditioner compositions with high deposition properties for cationically coated microcapsules. The compositions contain limited amounts of quaternary ammonium salts that are replaced by at least one non-quaternized conditioning ingredient to provide a high deposition of microcapsules onto a surface.

The present disclosure relates to microcapsules having an oil-based core and a polymeric shell coated with at least a cationic polymer. Microcapsules defined in the present disclosure combine the presence of an anionic emulsifier and a cationic polymer according to a specific charge density range to optimize the deposition in rinse-off applications.

The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns polyethylene or polypropylene based polymers that have at least one &#x3b2;-oxy or &#x3b2;-thio carbonyl moiety capable of liberating a perfuming molecule such as, for example, an &#x3b1;,&#x3b2;-unsaturated ketone, aldehyde or carboxylic ester. The present invention concerns also the use of such compounds in perfumery as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles that include such compounds.

Amphiphilic co-polymer conjugates for a controlled release of active molecules

A fabric rinsing composition, free of cationic softening compound, in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion prepared by a phase inversion temperature process. The product of the invention provides a good rinsing while efficiently depositing perfume onto the treated fabric.

We describe a process for perfuming fabrics washed in the presence of a lipase-containing detergent and, optionally, subsequently treated with a fabric softener, said process being characterized in that said detergent and/or said fabric softener contains a compound of formula ##STR1## wherein a. R represents a radical derived from an fragrant alcohol of formula ROH and Y represents a C.sub.7 to C.sub.24 linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl radical, or a --(CH.sub.2).sub.n COOR group wherein R is defined as above and n is an integer from 0 to 6; or p1 b. Y represents a C.sub.7 to C.sub.24 linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl radical and R represents a group of formula ##STR2## wherein, either R.sup.1 represents hydrogen and R.sup.2 represents an alkylidene radical derived from a fragrant aldehyde of formula ##STR3## or R.sup.2 represents an alkylidene radical and R.sup.1 an alkyl radical, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 being then derived from an fragrant ketone of formula ##STR4## and, optionally, being part of a ring such as indicated by the dotted line which contains 5 to 18 carbon atoms and can be substituted. The process has the advantage of providing an effect of slow diffusion ('slow release') of said fragrant alcohol, aldehyde or ketone, thus prolonging the odor effect of the latter on fabrics.
