An irrigation sprinkler provides a more even distribution pattern of water over a given area being irrigated by providing a controlled rotation in a wobbling water deflector. A sprinkler base has a nozzle attached thereto and a water deflector rotatably attached to the base. The water deflector and the nozzle each have a plurality of gear teeth thereon which gear teeth are different in number between the water deflector and the nozzle so that they only partially mesh when the water deflector is rotated on the base. The gear teeth also assure that the deflector cannot spin freely causing high rpm.

Irrigation sprinkler

A sprinkler apparatusfor providing more even coverage of a sprinkled area with water which is achieved by a different speed of rotation of a water deflectorrelative to a water diffuserin a wobbling sprinkler head. A diffuser headis rotatably attached to a baseand has a water diffuserfor diffusing water passing therethrough. A water deflectoris rotatably attached to the rotatable diffuser headfor directing water emitting from the nozzlethrough the water diffuser. A viscous fluid brakecouples the water deflectorto the water diffuserto vary the speed of rotation of the water diffuserrelative to the water deflectorto obtain a more even coverage of the area being sprinkled.

Sprinkler apparatus

An irrigation sprinkler with two viscous brakes. The viscous brakes work in conjunction with each other to maintain a low RPM and also to rotate a water stream diffuser. The water stream is first directed toward a deflector that offsets the stream and angles it toward the area to be watered. The offset stream applies a torsional force on the deflector causing it to rotate. The stream is then interrupted intermittently by the diffuser that is rotating at a different RPM. The end result is a sprinkler that rotates slowly and breaks up the stream of water intermittently to create an even pattern of water on the area being sprinkled without using mechanical parts, such as ratchets or gearing. This is desirable for smooth operation and less chance of the operation being interrupted from contamination by dirt, insects, debris, etc. Also, a more random diffusion of the water is obtained.

Rotary sprinkler

A table is provided having a table top, a leg assembly coupled to the table top to pivot about a leg pivot axis, and a channel member defining a downwardly facing channel on the table top. The leg assembly includes a leg pivotably coupled to the table top and a support strut pivotably coupled to the leg and slidably coupled to the channel. The table top includes a pair of plastic table sections having rigidified top sheets, a handle recess, a socket/plug combination configured to secure the table sections together, a leg cradle providing a rotative bearing for the leg assembly, and a pair of rails.

Banquet table

A swing assembly includes a support stand, a swing mounted on the support stand to swing back and forth along a swing arc, and a swing driver. The swing driver includes a drive belt coupled to the swing, a belt tensioner coupled to the drive belt to place the drive belt in tension, and a belt driver coupled to the drive belt. The belt driver moves the drive belt relative to the support stand while the drive belt remains in tension to apply force to the swing to sustain swinging movement of the swing along the swing arc. The drive belt includes a strap having a fixed end coupled to the support stand and a free end coupled to the belt tensioner. The drive belt has drive teeth that are appended to the strap and coupled to the belt driver.

A table includes first and second sections coupled together for pivotable movement therebetween and a pair of legs pivotably coupled to the respective sections to move between storage and support positions. The table further includes a pair of channels coupled to each section, a pair of struts coupled to each respective channel to slide therein, and a pair of collars having two substantially identical pieces pivotably coupling each strut to a leg. The table also includes a reinforcing assembly including a pair of rails coupled to the respective sections and a support pivotable relative to one rail and slidable relative to the other rail to provide a rigid member supporting the sections.

Folding banquet table

A swing includes a swing motor and an adaptive control system for periodically actuating the swing motor to sustain swinging pendulum movement of a seat along a swing arc in a manner that is compatible with the natural frequency (and period) of the seat. The swing further includes a support stand and a swing seat frame mounted on the support stand to carry the seat. The adaptive control system includes an impulse mechanism that applies a torque to the swing seat frame and that is actuated at a variable point along the swing arc between first and second extreme positions and without regard to the position of the swing seat frame relative to the support stand.

Automatic pendulum-drive system

A child swing including a support stand, a swing frame mounted on the support stand for reciprocating swinging movement along a swing arc in a forward swing direction and an opposite rearward swing direction, a base pivotably coupled to the swing frame for angular movement about a pivot axis between a forward-facing position facing in the forward swing direction and a side-facing position facing in a side direction extending at an angle to the forward swing direction, and a child seat coupled to the base to pivot therewith relative to the swing frame.

Convertible child swing

A highchair apparatus for attachment to an elevated member, such as a table or the like. At least a portion of a frame supporting the highchair apparatus engages an upper surface of the elevated member. A clamping member, pivotally attached to the frame pivot housing at a first pivot, engages a lower surface of the elevated member and clamps the highchair apparatus to the elevated member. A cam member, pivotally attached to the frame pivot housing at a second pivot, restrainably secures the highchair apparatus to the elevated member, by engaging the clamping arm upon movement of the cam member from a substantially nonengaging position to a substantially engaging position, causing the clamping member to securely engage the lower surface of the elevated member, and further serving to lock the clamping member in secure engagement with the lower surface of the elevated member.

A child swing motor apparatus includes a swing motor and a mechanism for using energy discharged from the swing motor to swing a child seat hanging from a child swing frame. The apparatus also includes an indicator for visually indicating the remaining run time of the swing motor during running of the swing motor to swing the child seat. The swing motor includes a spring and a spring winding mechanism. An escapement mechanism is also provided to impart pendulum motion to the swinging child seat using torque generated by the spring.
