A rear-mounted implement mounting system includes semicylindrical seats open upwardly and mounted on a lower back portion of a utility vehicle chassis that receive bar members located on a facing lower part of the rear-mounted implement. The utility vehicle chassis further includes semicylindrical receivers open in a rearward direction and adjacent cylinder portions open laterally. The receivers guide cylindrical bosses, located on an upper portion of the rear-mounted implement, into alignment with the cylinder portions, when the rear-mounted implement is pivoted upwardly by extending the boom cylinder of the rear-mounted implement. Connecting pins can be slipped through the cylindrical bosses and cylinder portions to lock the rear-mounted implement to the utility vehicle chassis. An operator remaining in the vehicle cab or operator station can easily operate the mounting system.

Rear-mounted implement mounting system

The utility vehicle chassis further includes semi-cylindrical receivers open in a rearward direction and adjacent cylinder portions open laterally. The receivers guide cylindrical bosses, located on an upper portion of the rear-mounted implement, into alignment with the cylinder portions, when the rear-mounted implement is pivoted upwardly by extending the boom cylinder of the rear-mounted implement. Connecting pins can be slipped through the cylindrical bosses and cylinder portions to lock the rear-mounted implement to the utility vehicle chassis. An operator remaining in the vehicle cab or operator station can easily operate the mounting system.

A ballast attachment for a tractor three-point hitch includes a cubical, rotational molded polyethylene shell filled with steel reinforced concrete. The front side of the attachment includes a forwardly opening receptacle for receiving a transverse hitch bar carried by the lower links of a tractor three-point hitch, the rear portion of the receptacle including a semi-cylindrical seat for the hitch bar. The center of gravity of the attachment causes the lower part of the attachment to tend to pivot about the hitch bar toward the tractor to the point where it engages the lower three-point hitch draft links. A chain secures the attachment in place.

A tube clamp includes a cylindrical resilient plastic body containing an axial mounting hole and having four tube receptacles arranged with a first pair on one side of the axis and with a second pair being respectively located in diametrically opposite locations from the first pair. Each receptacle includes an entryway leading to a tube-receiving portion defined by a cylindrical wall sized for snugly receiving a given tube and into which the tube may be snap-fit and retained without the use of fasteners. When shipping a tube bundle for use on equipment provided with hydraulic cylinders, as many clamps are used along the length of the bundle as are necessary to keep the tubes separated one from another, these same clamps being used to mount the clamps to structure of the equipment by inserting mounting bolts through the clamp mounting holes.

A loader includes a pair of rear supports projecting transversely outwardly from a longitudinally extending tractor frame. The rear supports are square in cross section. The loader further includes a pair of posts having receptacles at the bottoms thereof which are received about the rear supports when the posts are in upright dispositions, the receptacles, as viewed from the side, being delimited by front and rear contact surfaces that are engaged with locations below and closer together than a major dimension of the associated support so as to secure the posts to the support. When a latch at the front of the loader is released for permitting removal of the loader, lift cylinders of the loader may be operated to cause the posts to swing forwardly and to be lifted away from an associated support once the receptacles are in positions permitting such movement.

Structure for attaching a loader to a tractor

An implement is coupled to the forward ends of a pair of loader lift arms through the medium of an attachment assembly comprising a pair of implement carriers respectively vertically pivotally mounted to the pair of loader lift arms by a connector rod that extends through aligned holes provided in lower locations of the carriers, the connector rod being releasably fastened to each of the carriers so that the latter are pivoted in unison by hydraulic cylinders connected between the lift arms and upper locations of the carriers. The attachment assembly further includes a pair of downwardly opening hooks welded to upper locations of the back side of the implement and including arcuate portions respectively receiving cylindrical bars defining upper ends of the pair of carriers. Also fixed to the back side of the implement are a pair of rearwardly projecting, tapered connecting pins that are respectively received in holes provided in mounting plates forming lower forward portions of the carriers. The pins are located at outward locations which are visible to an operator so that the mounting of the implement to the carriers can be more easily effected. Quick clips are received through cross bores provided in the mounting pins so as to releasably maintain the connection between the implement and carriers.
