A device, system, and method for an electronic response to a potential carjacking is provided. A device receives: a location and vehicle ignition status of a vehicle; and sensor data generated by one or more sensors that are onboard the vehicle, the sensor data different from the location and the vehicle ignition status. The device determines whether the location of the vehicle is associated with a carjacking type of location, and whether a combination of the vehicle ignition status and the sensor data meet a carjacking threshold condition. When both the location of the vehicle is associated with the carjacking type of location and the carjacking threshold condition is met, the device: outputs an alert at the vehicle indicative of, or associated with, the potential carjacking; and/or causes, a notification to be transmitted to a communication device associated with a public safety agency or a monitoring service.

A communication system and method are provided to conduct waterway searches for the detection and identification of objects and the generation of law enforcement agency alerts and pre-approved external agency notifications. A water body surveillance apparatus, under control of a law enforcement agency, surveys above and below a water surface to detect objects and collect data pertaining to the detected objects. The communication system identifies the detected object and generates an alert to the law enforcement agency identifying the object. A notification is sent to pre-approved external agencies based on object type. Responsive to detecting the pattern-of-conduct the computing device expands or contracts a boundary of the first geofence definition to create an updated first geofence definition associated with the first criminal organization and provides the updated first geofence definition to one or more target devices for display or further electronic processing.

An out-of-boundary condition is then detected in the streams or identifiers in which an individual determined to be associated with the first criminal organization is detected outside of the first geofence definition. The electronic computing device monitors audio communications transmitted between communication devices that are members of a talk group on a talk group channel. The electronic computing device detects an audio inquiry from a first communication device and generates an audio content response to be provided in response to the audio inquiry. The electronic computing device determines based on one or both of the audio inquiry and the audio content response, and as a function of the context information, that the audio content response is to be individually provided to the first communication device. The electronic computing device then establishes a private call with the first communication device and provides the audio content response to the first communication device via the private call.
