Silicone material obtained by a reaction between:—at least one organopolysiloxane (A) that has a molar mass of less than 70,000 g/mol, preferably less than 50,000 g/mol, and contains siloxyl units I.1 and I.2; and—at least one organic compound (B) carrying at least two carboxylic acid groups and having no unsaturation.

Silicone materials

Approaches are described for coating various flexible media, such as sheets of paper, synthetic polymer (polyolefin, polyester, etc.) sheets or fabric sheets, with a silicone on high-speed rolls. For example, an efficient method is described for minimizing and/or reducing mist formation when coating flexible supports with a liquid silicone composition precursor of crosslinked coatings. The coating process can be performed using a coating device that includes a roll operating at a high speed.

The present invention concerns an organopolysiloxane (A) able to be obtained by the reaction, at a temperature of between 10&#xb0; C. and 75&#xb0; C., between&#x2014;at least one compound (C) chosen from the organic compounds comprising at least one alkene or alkyne functional group, at least one of the substituents of which is an acid functional group and the organic compounds comprising at least one acid functional group and at least one alkene or alkyne functional group, at least one of the substituents of which is an electron-withdrawing group; and&#x2014;at least one organopolysiloxane (B) chosen from the organopolysiloxanes comprising siloxyl units (I.1) and (I.2) of the following formulae: (I) The present invention also concerns compositions comprising said organopolysiloxanes (A) and the uses thereof.
