In order to enhance the safety of a cableway, in particular when a cable car passes through a cableway support of the cableway, according to the present teaching a detection device having at least one evaluation unit and at least two sensors connected to the evaluation unit is provided on at least one cableway support. A first sensor is located in the entry area of the cableway support in order to detect the presence of a cable car in a detection area of the first sensor. A second sensor is located in the exit area of the cableway support in order to detect the presence of a cable car in a detection area of the second sensor. The detection device is provided in order to detect a number of cable cars between the first sensor and the second sensor and to generate a fault signal when the detected number exceeds a predefined maximum number.

Passage detection for a cableway

For reliable detection of the wear on a cable sheave of a cable car system, the distance between a cable sensor and a hoisting cable is measured when the cable car system is at a standstill and the wear on the at least one cable sheave is deduced from the distance measured at a standstill.

Method for detecting wear of a cable roller of a cableway installation

In order to be able to more reliably assess and react to the potential hazard when a vehicle of a cable car enters a station of the cable car, it is provided that the deflection of the vehicle before the station entrance is measured by the sensor and transmitted to the cable car control unit, that at the same time the occurrence of a wind gust before the station entrance is detected by the cable car control unit and that the cable car control unit controls a cable car drive as a function of the transmitted deflection and of the detected wind gust.

Cable car and method for operating a cable car

In order to simplify the troubleshooting in a cableway during operation of the cableway, a unique car identification is assigned to each car, with the car identification of each car being known by the cableway control system. At least one function monitoring unit transmits malfunctions triggered by cars during the operation of the cableway to the cableway control system in a function status message FSi. The cableway control system assigns a malfunction that was received to the triggering car and the malfunctions together with the car identification of the triggering car are stored and evaluated in the cableway control system.

Method for operating a cableway

In order to be able to reliably prevent the departure of a vehicle without a locking of the closure device in a cableway with a locking monitor, a second receiving device is provided in the movement direction of the vehicle after the first receiving device. After the start of the vehicle in the first station, the transponder of the vehicle enters the effective range of the second receiving device, and the transponder transmits a signal with the locking state to the second receiving device. The cableway is stopped before the vehicle leaves the first station when the signal to the second receiving device indicates a faulty lock mechanism.

Data are transmitted from a secondary station to a master station along a segmented path, wherein two contiguous segments are respectively connected by a node and wherein the path has at least three segments with at least two nodes. The data from the secondary station are split into N data packets, where N is the number of nodes. The data packets are marked distinguishably, each marking corresponding to a particular node on the path. Each data packet along the path is forwarded only to the adjacent node or adjacent station. Each node checks to determine whether the marking of the packet corresponds to the respective node. If so, data from the node are added to the data packet. The data packets are collected in the master station. The data transmission is concluded successfully if all N data packets with data from all N nodes are present.

Method for transmitting data

An electronic wristwatch operable in two power modes. The wristwatch has an inertial sensor for detecting a gesture on a cover glass of the wristwatch. A touch panel is provided underneath the cover glass for detecting the gesture. Gesture detection by the inertial sensor is combined with gesture detection by the touch panel for triggering a switch from a first power mode to a second power mode.
