A drive system for an agricultural vehicle can include a power plant operably coupled with a chassis and a propulsion pump unit. A sensor can be configured to provide data indicative of one or more operational conditions. A computing system can be operably coupled with the sensor, a first propulsion motor, a second propulsion motor, a third propulsion motor, and a fourth propulsion motor. The computing system can be configured to detect one or more operational conditions based on data from the sensor, and assign each of the propulsion motors to a first set or a second set when one or more defined operational conditions are detected based on one or more assignment parameters, and control a flow rate of the first set to operate at a first flow rate and the second set to operate at a second flow rate.

Drive systems and methods for an agricultural applicator

A method of operating a vehicle includes receiving at least one of (a) load data indicating a torque on an axle assembly of the vehicle, (b) an indication of a type of an implement that is coupled to the vehicle, or (c) a selection by an operator of an operating mode for the vehicle from a list of operating modes. The vehicle includes a ballast and a ballast actuator that is configured to reposition the ballast. The method further includes controlling the ballast actuator to reposition the ballast based on at least one of (a) the load data, (b) the indication of the type of the implement, or (c) the selection by the operator.

A track assembly includes a frame configured to be coupled to a chassis of a vehicle, a first wheel and a second wheel each pivotally coupled to the frame, a track engaging the first wheel and the second wheel, and a motor coupled to the track and the frame. The track extends along a track path that surrounds the first wheel and the second wheel. The motor is configured to drive the first wheel such that the track moves along the track path. The motor and the first wheel are aligned.

An adjustable steering stop includes a chassis stop configured to be coupled to a chassis member of a vehicle and a knuckle stop configured to be coupled to a steering knuckle. The chassis stop and the knuckle stop together define a steering limit location where the knuckle stop contacts the chassis stop. The adjustable steering stop further includes an adjustment actuator coupled to one of the chassis stop or the knuckle stop to move the chassis stop or the knuckle stop thereby changing the steering limit location.

A vehicle includes a frame, a first axle assembly coupled to the frame and including a first pair of tractive elements, a second axle assembly coupled to the frame and including a second pair of tractive elements, a prime mover coupled to the frame and configured to drive the first axle assembly and the second tractive assembly to propel the vehicle, a ballast movably coupled to the frame, and a ballast actuator configured to reposition the ballast relative to the frame to shift a center of gravity of the vehicle relative to the first axle assembly and the second axle assembly.

An adjustable steering stop for an axle assembly of a vehicle includes a housing configured to be coupled to a steering knuckle or a frame of the axle assembly, a shaft received within the housing and movable relative thereto, the shaft being configured to engage a stop to limit movement of the steering knuckle relative to the frame, and a locking assembly coupled to the housing and reconfigurable between (a) an engaged configuration in which the locking assembly limits movement of the shaft relative to the housing and (b) a disengaged configuration in which the locking assembly permits the shaft to move relative to the housing. The locking assembly includes an actuator configured to reconfigure the locking assembly between the engaged and disengaged configurations. A controller is configured to control the actuator to reconfigure the locking assembly between the engaged configuration and the disengaged configuration.

A clutch assembly for a transmission of an agricultural work vehicle. The clutch assembly includes a housing, a clutch pack located within the housing, a piston chamber located within the housing, and a piston located within and slidable relative to the piston chamber. The piston is operably connected to the clutch pack for engaging and disengaging the clutch pack. The clutch assembly further includes a balance chamber that is located within the housing. The lower boundary wall of the balance chamber and the lower boundary wall of the piston chamber are radially separated from one another by a substantial distance.

A sealing system includes a shaft seal plate, a seal guide having a tab, and a shaft seal coupled to the seal guide. A guide slot is formed in the shaft seal plate, and the tab extends into the guide slot. The shaft seal is configured to form and substantially maintain a seal at an axle bar as the axle bar rotates and pivots. The seal guide is configured to translate relative to the shaft seal plate as the axle bar pivots, and the tab is configured to block a rotation of the seal guide and the shaft seal relative to the shaft seal plate as the axle bar rotates.

A vehicle includes a chassis, an engine coupled to the chassis, a power source coupled to the chassis, and a track assembly. The track assembly includes an electric motor coupled to the chassis, a first drive wheel coupled to the electric motor and pivotally coupled to the chassis, a second drive wheel coupled to the engine and pivotally coupled to the chassis, and a track engaging the first drive wheel and the second drive wheel. The engine is configured to provide mechanical energy to the second drive wheel to drive the track and propel the vehicle. The electric motor is configured to receive electrical energy from the power source and provide mechanical energy to the first drive wheel to drive the track and propel the vehicle.

A clutch assembly for a transmission of an agricultural work vehicle. The clutch assembly includes a housing, a clutch pack located within the housing, a piston chamber located within the housing, and a multipart piston located within and slidable relative to the piston chamber. The multipart piston is operably connected to the clutch pack for engaging and disengaging the clutch pack. The multipart piston includes a lower piston extension part. The clutch assembly further includes a balance chamber that is located within the housing. The lower boundary wall of the balance chamber and the lower boundary wall of the piston chamber are radially separated from one another by a substantial distance. The lower piston extension part is located within the balance chamber for adding to a collective surface area of the balance chamber.

A suspension system for a work vehicle includes an axle bar, an inner control member, an outer control member, and a slide housing. The axle bar extends through the inner control member, the outer control member, and the slide housing. The axle bar is non-rotatably coupled to the slide housing and is configured to pivot with the slide housing and relative to the inner control member and the outer control member.

A vehicle including a chassis and a planetary gear assembly supported by the chassis. The planetary gear assembly includes a planetary carrier having a carrier locking feature, at least one planetary gear, at least one pin supporting the at least one planetary gear and including at least one pin locking feature, and at least one thrust washer coupled to and supported by the at least one pin. The at least one thrust washer includes a first locking member engaging with the carrier locking feature, which prevents the at least one thrust washer from rotating, and a second locking member engaging with the at least one pin locking feature such that the at least one thrust washer prevents the at least one pin from rotating and axially sliding.

A hydraulic steering system of a work vehicle includes a hydraulic cylinder assembly configured to receive hydraulic fluid. The hydraulic cylinder assembly includes a hydraulic cylinder and a shaft assembly disposed within the hydraulic cylinder. The shaft assembly includes a first shaft part extending within the hydraulic cylinder and having a first piston integrally formed thereon and also includes a second shaft part extending within the hydraulic cylinder and having a second piston. The hydraulic cylinder assembly also includes a plurality of sealing members configured to extend radially between the hydraulic cylinder and the shaft assembly to separate the hydraulic cylinder into a first chamber supporting the first piston and a second chamber supporting the second piston. The first chamber and the second chamber are fluidly isolated from each other.

Hydraulic steering system of a work vehicle

An axle assembly for a work vehicle may generally include a hub, a casing at least partially received within the hub, and a shaft configured to be received within the casing. The hub defines a tapered inner surface and the casing defines a tapered outer surface. The tapered inner surface of the hub defines a first keyway portion defining a first keyway surface, and the tapered outer surface of the casing defines a second keyway portion defining a second keyway surface. The tapered surfaces of the hub and the casing together define a tapered interface and a keyway. The first and second keyway surfaces of the keyway extend in a direction non-parallel to the tapered interface.
