A rotor hollow shaft for a rotor of an electric machine may include a cylinder barrel that is closed off on both sides by end flanges. On each side, a shaft journal may be positioned or formed on the end flanges. At least one of the shaft journals may include an access bore that provides access to a shaft cavity surrounded by the cylinder barrel. A leadthrough element may be fitted into the access bore so as to impart a sealing action with respect to the shaft cavity. The leadthrough element may extend through the shaft cavity to the shaft journal on the other side of the cylinder barrel, where the leadthrough element may likewise be fitted so as to impart a sealing action with respect to the shaft cavity. The leadthrough element may permit the leadthrough of a liquid or gaseous medium.

Media transport in rotor shaft

A rotor segment of an electric machine may include a rotor shaft and a laminated core, which is arranged on the rotor shaft in such a way that a gap dimensioned sufficiently large in the radial direction for the passage of a cooling medium is produced between an outer surface of a hollow cylinder shell and an inner surface of the laminated core. The rotor segment may further include two pressure elements that are held on the rotor shaft in a stationary manner such that the pressure elements axially clamp the laminated core. Further, at least one of the pressure elements is designed as a holding segment allowing cooling medium to pass through.

Rotor segment of an electric machine

A device may be used to assemble a rotor segment of an electric machine. The rotor segment may include a rotor shaft, a laminated core joined to the rotor shaft, and two pressure elements that clamp the laminated core. A method for assembling the rotor segment may involve positioning the rotor shaft in the device and orienting the rotor shaft using an orienting means of the assembly device, positioning the laminated core and at least one of the first or second pressure elements within a clamping means of the device, orienting the laminated core by means of a positioning module of the clamping means, and moving the rotor shaft relative to the clamping means such that the laminated core is pushed onto the rotor shaft and the at least one of the first or second pressure elements is connected to the rotor shaft.

Method and assembly device for assembling an electric machine

An assembled hollow rotor shaft for a rotor, which rotates about a longitudinal axis, of an electric machine, may include a cylinder jacket that surrounds a shaft cavity, and end flanges disposed on both sides on the cylinder jacket. A shaft journal is disposed on each of the end flanges. An inlet is provided in the shaft journal of one of the end flanges via which a cooling medium can be conducted into the shaft cavity and onto an inner surface of the cylinder jacket. A cooling-medium distribution element within the shaft cavity may be formed symmetrically perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis, may receive the cooling medium, which enters via the inlet, via a receiving region, may guide the cooling medium via a removal region in a direction of the inner surface of the cylinder jacket, and may discharge the cooling medium onto the inner surface via a discharging region.

A hollow shaft arrangement may include a hollow shaft, such as a rotor shaft of an electric motor, for example, through which a fluid can pass for cooling purposes. Surface-enlarging cooling structures for transferring thermal energy from the hollow shaft to the fluid may be arranged in an inner space of the hollow shaft. The surface-enlarging cooling structures may be connected to the hollow shaft, but may be part of a cooling body that is formed separately from the hollow shaft. Further, the cooling body may include a sleeve-like main body from which the surface-enlarging cooling structures project radially inwardly, and the sleeve-like main body may include an axial gap that permits a circumference of the main body to be adjustable. In some cases an outer diameter of the cooling body is larger than an inner diameter of the bearing.

Hollow shaft arrangement

A hollow rotor shaft for a rotor of an electrical machine may include a cylinder barrel closed off by face flanges on both sides. The cylinder barrel may enclose a shaft cavity. A shaft journal may be configured on each face flanges. An inlet may be disposed in one of the shaft journals by way of which a cooling fluid may pass into the shaft cavity and onto an inner surface of the cylinder barrel. A distribution element may be disposed in the shaft cavity. The distribution element may receive the cooling fluid that enters through the inlet, conduct the cooling fluid in a direction of the inner surface of the cylinder barrel by way of a rotation-symmetrical drainage surface, and give off the cooling fluid to the inner surface by way of a mouth region.

Oil distribution element

A method for mounting laminated sheets onto a shaft of a rotor provided for an electrical machine may involve sliding the laminated sheets onto the shaft and bracing the laminated sheets between two rotation-resistant thrust washers connected with the shaft. The laminated sheets may be slid onto the shaft to lie against a stop in the form of a first thrust washer arranged upon a first subsection of the shaft. A second thrust washer may be pressed in by axially bracing the laminated sheets onto a second axial subsection of the shaft in a frictional interlocking manner. The second thrust washer may be positioned after a surface of the second subsection has been enlarged by the introduction of an exterior surface profile.

Rotor shaft with a laminated core

A camshaft contains a support tube, on which components including at least one cam are arranged at predetermined locations. The support tube extends at least partially through a hole in the components, and wherein a press fit is produced between the support tube and the components by hydroforming. Accordingly, at least one locally formed material formation is provided between the support tube and the hole. Via the material formation, the component is retained at the location in a desired orientation relative to the support tube in such a way that the support tube having the mounted components can be fed for hydroforming.

Camshaft and method for producing the camshaft

The invention relates to a method for producing a tubular structural part by means of hydroforming. An assigned end of a supporting tube () is inserted into an opening in an end piece () and then widened by a pressurized fluid being applied to it and is connected to the end piece () with a press fit. The opening () has a first portion () with a first inner cross section, which is greater than the outer cross section of the assigned end of the supporting tube (). According to the invention, the first portion () is adjoined by a second portion (), in a step-shaped manner so as to form an edge (). The inner cross section of the second portion () is smaller than the outer cross section of the assigned end of the supporting tube (). In the method according to the invention, the supporting tube () is first inserted with its corresponding end into the first portion (), before the edge () cuts into the material of the supporting tube () in a further pushing-in movement.

Method and parts for making a tubular workpiece, in particular a built-up camshaft

An oil-laden gas stream flows axially through a tube shaft formed with at least one radially throughgoing inner oil-discharge port and, axially downstream therefrom, with at lest one radially throughgoing inner gas-discharge port. A bearing supports the tube shaft for rotation about the axis and is formed axially level with the ports with respective radially throughgoing outer oil-discharge and gas-discharge ports. An oil separator inside the tube shaft axially between the oil-discharge ports and the gas-discharge ports is oriented to deflect oil particles from the stream radially outward such that the oil flows out through the inner and outer oil-discharge ports and the gas stream can flow downstream out through the gas-discharge ports.

A hollow body includes an integrated oil separator unit, a swirl generator located in a cavity of the hollow body, at least one first supply opening in the camshaft case for introducing gas that is charged with oil into the cavity, and at least one discharge opening for carrying away separated oil and for carrying away gas that has been cleaned of oil. The swirl generator also has elements that are used to variably influence the pressure prevailing at a predetermined point in the cavity.

Hollow body having an integrated oil separating device

A hollow body, in particular a camshaft, is provided. The hollow body includes an integrated oil separator unit, a swirl generator being located in a cavity of the hollow body and the hollow body having at least one supply opening in the camshaft case for introducing gas that is charged with oil into the cavity and at least one discharge opening for carrying away separated oil and gas that has been cleaned of oil. The hollow body has an oil separator ring inside the cavity, downstream of the swirl generator when viewed in the flow direction.

A camshaft arrangement having two shafts disposed coaxially, one inside the other. A connecting element is inserted into a receptacle in the inner shaft, such that a part of the connecting element protrudes out of the receptacle, and that the protruding part is inserted at least partially in a recess, the recess is designed to be open at least toward an end face of the inner shaft cam, and that the protruding part has at least two opposite side surfaces contacting two corresponding inner surfaces of the recess of each inner shaft cam with a force fit. The further connecting element is designed as a radial pin pressed through a hole in the inner shaft cam element into a receptacle of the inner shaft.
