A kit for making a sign utilizing a router includes a plurality of interlocking templates that can be utilized to form the letters for a sign. The kit includes two or more templates that are positioned in the same location on a board in a sequence to form a single letter, number or symbol with an island with an uninterrupted perimeter. The kit also includes a guide bushing that is secured to the router bit to prevent the router bit from gouging into the templates.

Sign making apparatus and method

A non-slip removable spacer for holding a workpiece in place relative to a work surface when interposed therebetween without permanent bonding therebetween. The spacer has a core with generally planar surfaces, with a pair elastomeric coverings applied to the surfaces. Further disclosed is a recessed attachment member in the spacer to receive a spindle element which permits spacers to be connected in a spaced part relationship. The spindle further includes a shelf. Also disclosed is cone adapter engagable atop a spacer. The cone has an apex for supporting a work surface with minimum surface contact.

A clamp for maintaining tight physical contact between two workpieces is disclosed. Using a pocket hole in one workpiece, the clamp includes a rod or pin which engages that workpiece. The second workpiece is either maintained in position by a resilient bumper which is clamped thereon, or by a threaded screw bolt which engages the other workpiece and drives the two together between the screw bolt and pin.

A blast gate assembly for connecting two hoses includes a first cylindrical section for frictionally engaging with a first flexible vacuum hose, a second cylindrical section for frictionally engaging with a second flexible vacuum hose, and a valve section disposed between the first cylindrical section and the second cylindrical section. The valve section includes a mounting bracket.
