A cooking appliance apparatus includes a first inverter, a second inverter, a first inductor, a set of further inductors including a first further inductor and a second further inductor, and a switching arrangement configured such as to allocate in an operating state the first inverter to the inductor and to allocate the second inverter in the operating state to an arbitrary one of the first and second further inductors of the set of further inductors.

Cooking device

In a method for a cooktop, in particular for producing and/or operating the cooktop, which has at least one variable cooking surface, the cooking surface is partitioned in an operating mode along a partitioning direction into a plurality of heating zones to which at least one heating parameter is assigned in each case in a location-dependent manner in order to heat a cooking utensil that is deposited on the heating zone. In order to ensure flexible production and/or flexible operation of the cooktop, during partitioning of the cooking surface into the heating zones in at least one peripheral region of the cooking surface, at least one cooking utensil characteristic is taken into account.

A hob device, in particular an induction hob device, includes a variable cooking surface, a user interface and a control unit which in the presence of a heating type divides the cooking surface into a plurality of heating zones in at least one dividing direction, associates heating parameter to each of the heating zones, in a manner dependent on location, for heating at least one cooking pot placed on the heating zone, and forms a cooking zone that is associated with the cooking pot and is heated using the heating parameter. A hob device includes a power supply unit, a receiving unit configured to receive an item of information, and a control unit configured to control the power supply unit in an operating state and to access the receiving unit. The control unit is configured to deactivate the power supply unit in the operating state for an inactivity time interval and to access the receiving unit during the inactivity time interval.

If hobs are integrated into built-in furniture, care must be taken to ensure that during operation the temperature in or on the built-in furniture does not exceed permissible limit values. It is proposed to fasten a temperature sensor in the hob housing by means of a heat-conducting retaining element. The retaining element is arranged on the hob housing such that essentially the heat output into the worktop is transmitted via the retaining element to the temperature sensor.

An induction hob device includes at least one induction heating element adapted to heat a cooking utensil, and at least one detection circuit which cooperates with the at least one induction heating element to detect a presence of the cooking utensil. A domestic appliance includes a mains connection at which an electrical mains voltage can be applied relative to a reference potential, a main supply unit supplying an electrical operating voltage from the mains voltage at its output, and at least one electrical consumer receiving the operating voltage. An electrical switch electrically isolates at least the output of the main supply unit from the mains connection, when the domestic appliance is in a standby mode. A hob apparatus includes a configuration unit having at least two input connections for connection to at least two inverters in one-to-one correspondence, at least two output connections for connection to at least two heating elements in one-to-one correspondence, and at least one switch operably connected to a first one of the at least two input connections and operably connected to at least a first one of the at least two output connections. The configuration unit operates the at least two inverters in at least one operating state in parallel to at least one of the at least two heating elements. The configuration unit includes at least one bridging element to connect the first one of the at least two input connections and a second one of the at least two output connections to one another independently of a switching position of the at least one switch.

A switching component, in particular a domestic-appliance switching component, includes a series circuit of at least two field effect transistors, and at least one driver circuit, which is associated with one of the at least two field effect transistors. A hob having at least one inductor, at least one inverter, a switching apparatus and a detection circuit for detection of cooking utensils. The switching apparatus is arranged in a circuit between the inductor and the inverter and switchable between a first switch position in which a connection between the inverter and the inductor is established and a second switch position in which the connection between the inverter and the inductor is interrupted. In order to allow an energy-saving detection mode, the switching apparatus is connected to the detection circuit such that the switching apparatus connects the inductor to the detection circuit when it is in the second switch position.
