An adjustable stock assembly for a fluid spray gun can be adjusted to have a different profile shape; and/or to have a different rotational position relative to the rest of the spray gun; and/or to have a different length relative to the rest of the spray gun; and/or to have a different tilt angle relative to the rest of the spray gun.

Adjustable stock assembly for fluid spray gun and methods

Embodiments of the invention include a dust extraction system including an array of two or more centrifugal dust removal devices, e.g., axial cyclones. The array of axial cyclones is configured to operate in parallel. The array of axial cyclones includes one or more sensor and a controller in communication with the sensor and adapted to receive air flow information from the one or more sensor. Inflow valves are operatively connected to the controller such that air flow through the array of axial cyclones is monitored and maintained at an optimum operating condition for each of the individual cyclones in the array. This is done, in general, by opening inflow valves as the air flow increases above a predetermined air flow value and shutting inflow valves as air flow decreases below the predetermined air flow value threshold.

Dust separation system for use with mobile equipment

The invention provides debris collection devices that include a debris contacting mechanism, a debris transport mechanism that is configured to receive debris moved by the debris contacting mechanism at an inlet and move such debris towards a debris storage compartment, and a filter and vacuum assembly. The filter and vacuum assembly includes an inlet disposed downstream of the inlet of the transport mechanism and upstream of the debris storage compartment, relative to the path of transported debris. In operation, the filter and vacuum assembly generate a primary air flow that draws the airborne particles into the inlet of the transport mechanism, along a path proximate to the transport mechanism, into the inlet of the filter and vacuum assembly and though a filter located within the filter and vacuum assembly without generating a substantial airflow through the storage compartment. Related debris collection and processing systems and methods also are provided.

Debris collection systems, vehicles, and methods

The invention provides a debris separation-filtration unit comprising a housing; an inlet that receives debris-laden air delivers the air in a tangential, centrifugal airflow-forming manner to the interior of housing; an inner shell that includes a number of airflow passageways; and a debris-capturing filter, the sides of which filter are at least substantially surrounded by the inner shell. Due to the formation of the centrifugal airflow and presence of the inner shell in the housing, only a portion of the debris particles entering the unit come in contact with the filter. The invention also provides debris collection, separation, and filtration systems comprising one or more of the separation-filtration units of the invention; debris collection vehicles comprising one or more of such units or systems; and related methods of collecting, separating, and filtering debris.

Debris collection systems and vehicles

A street sweeper is provided including a vacuum pick-up head having a relatively low noise level and high sweeping efficiency resulting from the careful control of the velocity and direction of the air flow. In order to control the air flow, the internal contour of the pick-up head is optimized to accommodate the streamline flow pattern to minimize turbulence and boundary layer separation. The cross sectional area of the internal contour of the pick-up head is designed to be substantially constant or slightly converging. A support assembly for supporting a nozzle assembly is provided which minimizes damage to the pick-up head and minimizes infiltration into the pick-up head. A suction tube is also provided which minimizes the noise level and increases the efficiency of the pick-up head and the fan.

Street sweeper pick-up head

A vehicle having a collecting and hauling system for collecting and hauling refuse in a containment vessel to a predetermined location. In the illustrated embodiment, a street sweeper having a street sweeping system utilizes a vertically extendable mast for elevating its hopper for dumping purposes. Additionally, air springs are provided to the wheel suspension system so that the air springs, when inflated, elevate the chassis and street sweeping system for road travel. When deflated, the chassis is lowered into solid support on the suspension system to provide a more rigid suspension for improved street sweeping and hopper dumping operation. Also, the street sweeper has a conveyor for conveying the dirt from dirt collection means upwardly into the hopper. A second air spring having resilient chamber walls is provided to support the conveyor means in movable relation so that it may be rotated upwardly in travelling position by inflation of the air spring and lowered into operating position by deflation thereof. The conveyor is preferably suspended from the chassis by pivotally hanging links to permit the conveyor to move between raised and lowered positions. Also, the street sweeping system includes a rotary broom which is pivotally carried, and third adjustable air springs are provided to control the vertical position of the broom and its pressure against the ground by the air pressure in the resilient-walled third air springs.

Street sweeper

A street sweeper utilizes a vertically extendable mast for elevating its hopper for dumping purposes. Additionally, air springs are provided to the wheel suspension system so that the air springs, when inflated, elevate the chassis and street sweeping system for road travel. When deflated, the chassis is lowered into solid support on the suspension system to provide a more rigid suspension for improved street sweeping and hopper dumping operation. Also, the street sweeper has a conveyor for conveying the dirt from dirt collection means upwardly into the hopper. A second air spring having resilient chamber walls is provided to support the conveyor means in movable relation so that it may be rotated upwardly in travelling position by inflation of the air spring and lowered into operating position by deflation thereof. The conveyor is preferably suspended from the chassis by pivotally hanging links to permit the conveyor to move between raised and lowered positions.
