A cleaning tool configured to be inserted into a lithography apparatus in a first configuration, configured to be engaged by a handler of the lithography apparatus, and used for cleaning a portion of the lithography apparatus. The cleaning tool is configured to move from the first configuration to a second, expanded configuration, after engagement by the handler such that the cleaning tool is in the second configuration when used for cleaning the portion of the lithography apparatus. There may also be a container configured to hold the cleaning tool in the first configuration and fit into the lithography apparatus. In that case, the cleaning tool is configured to be inserted into the lithography apparatus in the container, moved from the container by the handler for the cleaning, and returned to the container by the handler after the cleaning.

Systems for cleaning a portion of a lithography apparatus

Disclosed are systems and methods for a fluid transportation system having a first flexible tube with an inner wall. The fluid transportation system also has a second flexible tube with an outer wall. The second tube is located inside the first tube and a standoff is located between the inner wall of the first tube and the outer wall of the second tube. The first flexible tube is configured to transport a first fluid and the second flexible tube is configured to transport a second fluid. The first and second flexible tubes are configured such that the first fluid isolates the second fluid from an ambient environment, and the first fluid can be monitored for leakage.

Apparatus for the closure of wide skin defects by stretching of skin

An apparatus is provided for applying a plurality of surgical fasteners to body tissue. The apparatus includes a staple carrying cartridge having an internal lockout mechanism for preventing operation of the apparatus after the staples have been fired from the cartridge. The lockout mechanism is movable between a first position prior to a staple firing operation wherein a firing mechanism is permitted to enter the staple cartridge and a second position upon retraction of the firing mechanism from the staple cartridge following a staple firing operation wherein the firing mechanism is prevented from entering the staple cartridge.

An improved apparatus for applying surgical fasteners to body tissue includes a cartridge containing a plurality of fasteners, an anvil positioned opposite the cartridge, and a locking mechanism to prevent re-approximation of the cartridge towards the anvil after the fasteners are fired and the cartridge is withdrawn from the anvil.

An improved apparatus for applying surgical fasteners to body tissue comprising a cartridge containing a plurality of fasteners, an anvil positioned opposite the cartridge, and a locking mechanism to prevent re-approximation of the cartridge towards the anvil when the cartridge is withdrawn from the anvil after the fasteners are fired. The locking mechanism comprises a leaf spring clip with a distal hook for engaging a slot on the anvil support arm. The clip is moved distally when the staples are fired, and the hook engages the slot when the fastener holding cartridge is moved to the open position to release the body tissue.

A handle for an endoscopic or laparoscopic surgical instrument including a flexible member positioned within a tubular body member extending from the handle. The flexible member is secured about a rotatable flywheel spool in said handle and extends to a tool mechanism at a distal end of the instrument. The flexible member is wound about the flywheel spool and is extended or withdrawn upon movement of the handle.

A surgical stapling or fastening instrument for applying surgical staples or fasteners to tissue having a controlled closure mechanism to approximate the distance between the jaw members of the instrument. The controlled closure mechanism consists of a catch member having a resilient material secured thereto which engages a pivotable lance member which freezes the rotation of the catch member at an infinite number of desired locations along its path of rotation. Controlling the position of the catch member controls the distance between the jaw members of the stapling or fastening device.

A surgical fastener, such as a stapler, is constructed of a pair of opposed jaws, one of which comprises an anvil and the other of which holds the fastener holder assembly, such as a cartridge, oriented towards the anvil. A clamp bar operable by a lever is longitudinally displaceable to advance the cartridge towards the anvil to clamp the subject matter prior to fastening. The clamp bar rides within a frame which supports the lever and the jaws. A thrust bar is longitudinally displaceable in response to the pivoting of a trigger to operate staple pushing elements within the cartridge to eject the fasteners towards the anvil for engagement with body tissue to be fastened. The thrust bar rides within the clamp bar. A pin is inserted between ends of the jaws to secure the jaws against loss of any portion of the body tissue during the clamping procedure. The pin has a cam surface which moves during a securing of the pin. A lockout system is provided for preventing both clamping and ejection of the fasteners, e.g., staples, until the pin is secured. The lockout system includes a bell crank which blocks movement of the clamp bar during an unsecured state, the crank being operated by a cam follower which rides on the cam surface of the pin. An intermediate link connects the trigger with the thrust bar, the intermediate link riding on the lever to be retracted during blockage of the clamp bar so as to prevent operation of the thrust bar.
