A method for producing colored concrete bodies, particularly colored concrete roof tiles, whereby pigment is added to the unprocessed concrete mix. In order to provide the production of permanently colored concrete bodies with reasonably priced pigments which are stable in outdoor exposure and are resistant to light, particularly UV, alkaiis and heat. A cement compatible aqueous polymer dispersion in which organic pigment is dispersed is added to the unprocessed concrete mix. Suitable cement compatible polymer dispersions are aqueous polymer dispersions based on styrene and/or pure acrylate. Phthalocyanine and quinacridone pigments are particularly suitable as organic pigments.

Colored concrete roofing tiles and a method for producing colored concrete bodies such as colored concrete roofing tiles

A method for producing colored concrete bodies, particularly colored concrete roof tiles, whereby pigment is added to the unprocessed concrete mix. Halogenated hydrocarbons are reacted in a reactor at temperatures up to 1000.degree. C. with greater-than-stoichiometric amounts of calcium and/or magnesium silicates in a reactor for the chemical-thermal degradation of the halogenated hydrocarbons. Neither dioxins nor furans are formed in the waste gas in this process.

Process for the chemical-thermal degradation of haolgenated hydrocarbons

There is needed a process and an apparatus for the pyrolytic decomposition of halogen and/or phosphorus containing organic materials, particularly those which are radioactive, in which no corrosive secondary products, minimal amounts of waste gas, small amounts of dust and conditionable active solid waste form. This is accomplished by mixing the materials in an over stoichiometric ratio with basis compounds and introducing them from above in the form of a suspension into a fixed bed reactor which is charged with mechanically agitated substantially spherical ceramic structures.

Process and apparatus for the decomposition of halogen and/or phosphoric

A halohydrocarbon is destroyed chemical-thermally by reacting at 600.degree. to 800.degree. C. with calcium oxide and/or calcium hydroxide. The process can be carried out problem-free by having the calcium oxide of hydroxide present in at least twice the stoichiometric excess based on the halogen to be bound and by having the composition contain 2-30 wt. % iron oxide.
