A machine has a network interface circuit for communication with a network. A processor is connected to the network interface circuit. A memory is connected to the processor and the network interface circuit. The memory stores data and instructions executed by the processor to receive a specification book detailing a construction project. Extracted text from the specification book is associated with specification book hyperlinks. Submittal log packages comprising subsets of the specification book hyperlinks are defined. Each submittal log package is associated with a subset of the construction project. The submittal requests are distributed based upon the submittal log packages. Approvals for acts performed corresponding to the submittal requests are collected. The specification book is augmented with the approvals and iterative feedback to characterize evolution of the construction project and construction project documentation.

Apparatus and method for integrating construction project specifications and related submittal documentation

A radiation beam analyzer for measuring the distribution and intensity of radiation produced by a radiation producing device. The analyzer employs a relative small tank of water into which a sensor is placed to maintain a constant SAD (source to axis distance). A first method maintains a fixed position of the sensor, and raises or lowers the small tank of water. A second method moves the sensor up, down or rotationally synchronously in opposite directions with respect to the small tank of water to keep the SAD constant. These methods position the sensor relative to the radiation source to simulate the location of a malady within a patient's body. The present invention enables measurements of substantially larger fields. This is accomplished by rotating a tank of water 90 degrees from a first position to a second position.

A radiation beam analyzer for measuring the distribution and intensity of radiation produced by a Cyberknife&#xae;. The analyzer employs a relative small tank of water into which a sensor is placed. The distance between the sensor and the radiation source is not varied. There are two methods to maintain the SAD (source to axis distance) constant. A first method maintains the position of detector fixed, utilizing a holder designed to retain the detector, and raises or lowers the small tank of water. A second method moves the detector up or down with a raising and lower mechanism in one direction and synchronically moves the small tank of water in the opposite direction with another raising and lowering mechanism. The second method also keeps the SAD constant. These methods position the detector relative to the radiation source to simulate the location of a malady within a patient's body.

The distance between the sensor and the radiation source is not varied. The tank of water is raised and lowered relative to the sensor to simulate the location of a malady within a patient's body. This movement of the tank permits the radiation from the CyberKnife&#xae; to be properly calibrated and adjusted for a proper treatment of a malady in a patient.

The instant invention is a modular radiation beam analyzer for measuring the distribution and intensity of radiation produced by a radiation source. More specifically, the instant invention is a modular radiation scanning device that includes up to three modules. By selecting and assembling a predetermined number of modules a radiation detector may be manipulated through up to three axes for radiation beam scans as well as direct Tissue Maximum Ratio (TMR) and/or Tissue Phantom Ratio (TPR) scans.

The present invention is a dynamic radiation scanning system for detecting radiation dosimetry of a beam emitted along an axis from a radiotherapy treatment machine and a method for its use. The system contains a dosimetry probe to sense photons and electrons, a dynamic phantom body formed from a material having a density approximating that of the human body, a gantry mounting assembly rigidly attached to the radiotherapy machine for positioning of the phantom body, and a lead screw assembly rigidly affixed to the gantry for providing coplanar movement of the dynamic phantom within a plane perpendicular to the axis of radiation emission. Movement of the dynamic phantom through a series of locations is carried out at varying depths and angles so as to provide sufficient data to determine variations in beam uniformity, thereby providing for simple and reliable testing and calibration of the machine.
