An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: sending a request from a transmitting user device to a second user device for communication resource recommendations based on a resource setting, wherein the communication resource recommendations include preferred and/or non-preferred communications resources for sidelink transmissions from the transmitting user device to a receiving user device. The resource setting is adjusted based on conditions as detected at the transmitting user device.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for selecting a first candidate beam for communication with a first transmitter (Tx) user equipment (UE) and a second candidate beam for communication with a second Tx UE; determining a first radio resource expected to be used by the first Tx UE for a first radio transmission to a receiver UE and a second radio resource expected to be used by the second Tx UE for a second radio transmission to the receiver UE; determining that the first radio resource overlaps in time with the second radio resource, and that the first candidate beam does not match the second candidate beam; and determining whether to: receive the first radio transmission using the first candidate beam, receive the second radio transmission using the second candidate beam, or receive the first radio transmission and the second radio transmission using a third candidate beam.

Enhanced beam selection for NR sidelink communication in FR2

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for user equipment behavior with respect to hybrid automatic repeat request retransmission in new radio sidelink co-existence scenarios with another technology are provided. For example, a method can include enabling, for a receiving user equipment, hybrid automatic repeat request negative acknowledgement only feedback. The method can also include first determining whether to condition negative feedback on at least one first condition, or second determining whether negative feedback is conditioned on at least one second condition. The method can further include third determining whether to retransmit a message according to hybrid automatic repeat request according to results of the first determining or the second determining. The method can additionally include communicating with the receiving user equipment based on a result of the third determining.

Disclosed is a method for efficient signaling of sidelink radio resources. A first terminal device selects a subset of radio resources from a set of candidate radio resources. The first terminal device determines a set of resource indices for the subset of radio resources based at least partly on a pre-defined enumeration order of the set of candidate radio resources in time and frequency. The first terminal device determines a first resource indication value indicating at least the set of resource indices. The first terminal device transmits the first resource indication value to one or more second terminal devices.
