Specialized arch gaskets for dust collection systems are provided that reinforce certain connections points within the system. More particularly, the arch gaskets may better reinforce the pressure conditions of the dust collection system and enhance the sanitary conditions within the system. The large side engagement formed by the legs of the arch gasket is able to provide a desirable amount of adhesive surface to connect to the desired component in the system (e.g., a door), which may allow a user to more easily install the arch gasket into the system at its intended location.

Gaskets and diaphragms for filtration systems

A filtration system housing is provided for supporting filtration system components. The filtration system is configured to remove particulates from air. The housing comprises a plurality of walls defining a chamber for receiving pressurized air. The housing additionally comprises a reinforcing member at least partially surrounding said walls. At least one of the walls is contoured to include a spatial curvature extending along a portion of the at least one wall.

Specialized dust collection systems are provided that include a pulsed air system; at least one diaphragm valve assembly, which functions as the pulsed air valve; and a controller for controlling the diaphragm valve assembly and pulsed distribution of the pressurized air. The diaphragm valve assembly may be controlled by the controller and is operable to selectively deliver pressurized air to the air distribution assembly in short pulses or bursts. The disclosed diaphragm valve assembly can be utilized to improve the functionality of the pulsed air system and the dust collection system.

A closing system for a bag. The closing system comprises a first plate and a second plate. The closing system further comprises a plurality of constriction rods extending between the first plate and the second plate. The constriction rods present a constriction area configured to receive a portion of the bag. Each of the first plate and the second plate is configured to rotate. Rotation of the plates is configured to shift the constriction rods so as to reduce a size of the constriction area.

A filter cartridge for dust collection systems is provided that comprises a plurality of tubular filter members. More particularly, the filter cartridges comprise: (a) a first support structure comprising a plurality of apertures; (b) a second support structure; and (c) a plurality of tubular-shaped filter members disposed between the first support structure and the second support structure. The apertures within the first support structure are designed to enhance the Venturi effect within the tubular-shaped members, thereby forming a filter cartridge that may operate at lower pressure drops and flow velocities.
