The present invention pertains to a balancing board of an advanced nature which allows unique maneuverability and whose design renders a smooth performance on virtually any surface conditions both in and outdoors, to promote balance and reflex coordination skills, while providing means for recreation and freestyle maneuvers. The user stands upon a longitudinal deck which engages a precision roller assembly, with means to manipulate the deck so as to achieve linear, pivotal, and sweeping radial motions. The roller assembly contains two independently rotatable wheels mounted to a common axle, each having an interchangeable polymer tire to permit use on diverse surfaces. A special, stepped rail centrally mounted to the lower side of the deck, guides the deck along the roller and furnishes the method whereby the deck is manipulated. A limiting cable maintains the contact between the deck and roller assembly, and defines the longitudinal travel of the deck, producing a desirable stopping action at its boundaries.

Advanced balancing board

A container transport and manipulator includes opening and closing beams mounting therealong spaced supports for engaging the ends of parallel horizontally disposed containers, and a swing platform, timed with the supports, for carrying the containers from one support to the next. The final support at the labeling or printing station rocks or manipulates the containers about the axis of curvature of the curved surface on which a label or printing is applied so that the labeling or printing can be smoothly and quickly done in reliable fashion. The final support is quickly set up and changed for different-shaped containers.

Container transport and manipulator for use with a label or screen

An improved locking element for a quick-connect coupling is designed for use in joining together tubular fluid conduits. The locking element comprises an annular segment and a plurality of annularly distributed resilient curled fingers which is sized to fit inside an annular cage mounted on one end of an inner coupling. The locking element of the inner coupling engages the flared end of an outer coupling when the couplings are telescopically fitted together.
