A system and method for facilitating user interface interactions between different computing devices. An example method includes providing a first user option to select a first portion of a first user interface display screen presented on a first computing device; providing a signal based on the selected portion; and using the signal to display one or more items in a second user interface display screen via a second computing device based on the first portion and one or more mapping rules. In a more specific embodiment, the example method further includes providing a second user option to adjust the mapping rules. The first portion includes, for example, a table row or column. The one or more items displayed via the second computing device include, for example, a visualization based on data associated with the first portion.

Integrating desktop and mobile devices

A sclera or contact lens with an image of an eye that is fenestrated, or uniformly speckled with many sub-millimeter sized transparent regions or holes, is disclosed. The micro fenestrated contact lens can be worn on a strabismic, or misaligned, eye so that its image is aligned with the wearer's dominant eye. The fenestrations allow the wearer to see through the opaque or translucent image printed on the contact lens, thus allowing binocular vision even though his or her strabismic eye is covered.

A system and method for facilitating configuring software security functionality. An example method includes employing a first computing device to collect information associated with a user of enterprise software, resulting in collected information; and dynamically adjusting one or more security features of enterprise software running on or accessible via a second device based on the collected information. The software running on the second device may include or represent the enterprise software that includes software security functionality. The collected information may include contextual information. An administrator user option facilitates adjusting the one or more rules.

A mechanism and accompanying method adapted for use with a user interface for manipulating complex data strings. In an example embodiment, the method includes providing a dialog box that includes a first user option to input data pertaining to a complex data string; using data input pertaining to the complex data string to selectively verify that portions of the complex data string represent valid portions; providing a first user option via the dialog box to employ data input pertaining to the complex data string as one or more search criteria to selectively perform a search of preexisting complex data strings; and providing search results in response thereto, wherein the search results are displayed within the dialog box. In a specific embodiment, the method further includes providing a mechanism via the dialog box to trigger creation of a complex data string that a user has specified via the dialog box when search results for the complex data string to be created do not include a match. The complex data string includes a Key Flex Field (KFF) code employed in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software application. Hence, mechanisms for inputting, creating, searching, and displaying complex data strings may occur within a single dialog box.

Desktop and mobile device integration

A set of characteristics is received in response to a questionnaire. Using the characteristics, various tasks are identified as requiring or not requiring user input because of the applicability to the customer. An associated task owner is determined for a subset of tasks. In response to receiving a selection of a selectable dependency indication associated with a first task, displaying task dependency data associated with the first task is displayed, the task dependency data including a set of tasks on which the first task depends for completion, a set of tasks that depend on the first task for completion, and for each of these dependent tasks, an associated task owner and a task status. A task list that indicates tasks needing to be completed is presented to the user. Software is installed according to the task list.

Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for filtering a complex dataset. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention provide for using a filter implemented as a single, re-usable component of a user interface to specify and perform filtering on a complex dataset. For example, embodiments described herein can provide a consistent user interface for navigating and filtering the complex dataset that includes tree management. Embodiments also provide a single, reusable, componentized widget for declaring filters against the complex dataset. Additionally, or alternatively, embodiments described herein allow filters to be shared across portions of the dataset, e.g., across ledgers, across the dataset, e.g., across charts of accounts, applications, e.g., different financial applications, across pillars, etc.

Embodiments described herein provide various features for a unified and simplified user experience. A first feature (or set of features) provides icons for launching or accessing applications and business flows. A second feature provides a unified menu system including an icon bar with thumbnails of a selected icon arranged adjacent to the icon bar. A third feature provides a framework for a menu that can expose application objects from diverse sources.

In various embodiments, techniques for communicating and visualizing dependencies between a large number of flows are provided. One or more user interfaces can be generated that enable users to interact with information needed to complete each tasks in an ordered or unordered listing of tasks. In some aspects, elements of these user interfaces can including functionality enabling users to interact with each tasks, navigate to information needed to complete each task. In another aspect, one or more styles of presenting information is provided that facilitates navigation to dependency information for each task in a more useful manner. In further aspects, elements of these user interfaces can visually communicate the above functionality and dependency information as well as additional information about each tasks, such as status information, ownership information, or providing an audit trail.

The disclosure concerns altering the mechanical and/or chemical property of a body tissue, particularly an ocular tissue. In specific cases, it concerns altering or stabilizing the shape of the cornea, such as in a subject suffering or at risk for ectasia or keratoconus. In other specific cases, it concerns strengthening the sclera in a subject suffering or at risk for myopia. The invention employs light irradiation of a photoactivatable compound, such as one that applies crosslinking to the tissue, for example.

Photochemical therapy to affect mechanical and/or chemical properties of body tissue

The methods described herein are methods to ascertain motion contrast within optical coherence tomography data based upon phase variance. The phase variance contrast observes the nanometer scale motion of scatterers associated with Brownian motion and other non-flow motion. The inventive method of calculating motion contrast from the phase variance can differentiate regions of different mobility based on the motion contrast differences, and can use the phase information to characterize mobility properties of the scatterers. In flow regions, the inventive method for acquiring and analyzing motion contrast can identify the regions as well as characterize the motion. Furthermore, the inventive method can determine quantitative flow estimation, the index of refraction variations, and absorption variations within flow regions.

The present invention relates to altering the physical and/or chemical properties of at least part of at least one tissue in the eye. In a specific embodiment, it relates to the treatment of any eye disorder, although in particular embodiments the individual has a thickened Bruch's membrane. An activating energy source is utilized to effect a controlled diffusion enhancement and/or degradation of Bruch's membrane that enables improved diffusional transport between the choroid and retina. The individual is administered an inactivated diffusion-enhancing molecule that becomes associated with the membrane, which is then precisely exposed to an activating energy source, such as light or ultrasound.

The present invention relates generally to the field of magnetic resonance imaging and, more particularly, to devices and methods used in the observation of the diffusion of molecules across a permeable membrane using magnetic resonance techniques.
