A wrapping assembly for an agricultural baler includes: a supply of wrapping material; a wrapping mechanism configured to wrap the wrapping material around a formed round bale; a protrusion inserter configured to insert a roll-reducing protrusion on a surface of the formed round bale; and a controller operably coupled to the wrapping mechanism and the protrusion inserter. The controller is configured to: output a wrap initiation signal to the wrapping mechanism so the wrapping mechanism begins wrapping the formed round bale; and output a protrusion insertion signal to the protrusion inserter so the roll-reducing protrusion is inserted on a surface of the formed round bale and is subsequently wrapped by wrapping material wrapped around the formed round bale by the wrapping mechanism.

An agricultural baler system includes a baler frame; a bale chamber; and a control system operatively coupled with the baler frame. The control system includes at least one first sensor configured for detecting at least one first operative condition associated with a baling operation and outputting at least one first operative condition signal corresponding to the at least one first operative condition. The control system further includes a controller system operatively coupled with the at least one first sensor. The control system is configured for receiving the at least one first operative condition signal and determining at least one operative parameter based at least in part on the at least one first operative condition signal. The at least one first operative parameter is associated with a bale of a crop material one of stalling and being about to stall in the bale chamber of a baler.

A bale release assembly for an agricultural baler includes: a pair of spaced apart side sheets defining a bale release opening with an opening width therebetween; a tailgate associated with the bale release opening and defining a closed position where the tailgate closes the bale release opening and an open position where the bale release opening is open; and a pair of grasping arms associated with the bale release opening and pivotable about a pivot axis. The grasping arms are each movable between a respective ramp position to form a ramp from the bale release opening to the ground and a respective grasping position where a grasping width defined between the grasping arms is greater than the opening width. The grasping arms define a ramp width therebetween that is less than the grasping width when each grasping arm is in its respective ramp position.
